I’ve been playing a bunch of TotK while waiting for my Drawing tablet to get fixed (I’ve gotten more done in TotK in 2 days than I have in a year with BotW)

So I decided to draw Link :D

I love the Hylian set, it’s pretty okay shush

Also, nothing fancy as this is done on my 7yr old iPad with no touch sensitivity and that kept crashing every 8 minutes,

A little over a year ago, I finished fabricating my chainmail for Link's Hylian Set! Unfortunately I still haven't finished my Link costume, as I was creating it for the Anime Boston 2020 masquerade and that was canceled because of, well, everything, I really enjoyed crafting this piece and I'm still excited to wear it some day! 

It was a challenge trying to create fitted chainmail that would lay exactly how I wanted under other garments, but after a lot of trial and error, I ended up creating an absurd amount of four-in-one chainmail so that I could lay it un-stretched on to a fitted shirt and tack it in place. It was a very time- and material-costuming process—it took 230 hours and 34,000 jump rings to create this piece (no I'm not kidding)—but it has really stood the test of time and remains fitted and draped how I want it.
