I need to study you under a microscope. Tell me more about that old man
Well, what can I say... Something about his personality catches me, and I have the greatest interest in his life before the betrayal of the Empress. How he worked, what he did, what he thought about. Somewhere I saw the chronology of the Dishonored universe, it was indicated that before the events of the game he worked as a Royal Spymaster for about 7 years, and now it is very interesting for me to think about his life during this period of time.
It would seem that what can be interesting in a bald, unpleasant dude? Well, even the fact that he was able to charm Lady Boyle in some way, and he also showed sincere tender feelings for her. Also, I was upset that there was so little of him in the game, since he could not even reveal himself either as a character or as a person completely. As if we were just told "this guy is bad" and we should listen and go chop everyone (or not). Therefore, I have a great interest in this character, he is not fully revealed to me (like most characters, in fact), plus I really like his design in the art and in the painting of Anton Sokolov (I even painted it), in the game he was deliberately made more unpleasant than in the concept, so that we even feel a physical rejection.
here is my replica of Anton Sokolov' painting:
So, yeah, he is a very interesting character to me. I believe that in the game, either for the sake of the plot, or just for fun, his mental abilities were slightly nerfed. I can't wrap my head around how a man with intelligence, who has earned his place as a Royal Spymaster, could even come up with such an idiotic plan to exterminate the poverty? Plus, he knew that he had paranoid thoughts and an obsession in order, didn't he? Then why hadn't he taken all this into account when he thought of becoming the Lord Regent, and in such an unstable time?
In general, I'm not happy with the way his image was played out in the game, and I demand more content with him!!
make my man popular, pleeeasee(
