One of our favorite ways to differentiate who's fronting (especially in the moment) is the color system. Which for us is just, what is my favorite color RIGHT NOW? It's not like, foolproof or anything, since multiple alters can have the same favorite color, and blending/co-fronting is a thing, but it definately helps us narrow it down.

Also, going through like "character creator" questions can be useful, but that sort of stuff only really applies if you know the answers to those questions, which is why it can br useful to have an app like SimplyPlural or just a google doc with relevant biographies and stuff.

I know it's hard, especially when being blurry and not knowing who you are takes up so much space, but one thing I've found is that it's MUCH easier to figure out who you are if you leave space for not knowing. Acknowledging that no matter how annoying it is to not know, you don't need to. You're never any less valid for not knowing who are.

oh no i wasn’t talking about anyone in general. it was mostly a comment about the idols writing their own messy lyrics than having professionals do their lyrics or at least learn to properly write lyrics.
