Red Queen Silver Parents

Well, I have the feeling that Evangeline's parents aren't really interested in her, I mean in a loving way. They seem to be like Juliet's parents (Romeo and Juliet), only producing children to make House Samos more powerful.

To be honest, I don't think that they would be sad if Eve or Tolly would die. Not like: "I am sad because I loved her/him." More like: "Damn, our dynasty has no heirs anymore."
