Girl please he was in the village again for all of 5 mins and you had your tongue down his throat. And there has never been a time when you don't want Robert. John's days are numbered.

Istg I can't believe these two eps actually happened. Like did I die and go to some version of Robron heaven or maybe just back to the year 2015? Not only is Robert back and back for good but he's crashed Aaron's wedding to his brother (something I predicted would happen). We got a kiss on the bridge and a forehead touch. We got Rob being the smug smart ass he was always meant to be and putting John in his place. We had Rob and John fighting at Jack's grave. Chas pissed at Rob and telling Aaron to stay away from him. Rob spouting his undying love for Aaron like he's the living embodiment of Mr. Darcy. Aaron acting like he's still planning on making things work with John when the second he saw Rob it's clear it was over.

Though I do predict we're going to get affair era 2.0. They've already done callbacks with Robron so it just makes sense they'd take it back to how it all started which is through an affair. They obviously love to do cheating storylines on soaps but one with Robron now could be great. Because having them reunite with Aaron being the one in a relationship this time adds a whole new level of drama different from what they've dealt with before. Not to mention we already know that John is pretty unhinged so who knows what he'll do when he finds out about the affair.

I've always wanted Robert to come back but I've also been nervous about how current Emmerdale would handle him and Robron. At the moment though it feels like they know how important that ship and these characters are both to us fans and the show. This feels like the Emmerdale I've missed. I stopped watching regularly years ago not just because Rob left but also because I felt like the writing hasn't been as good as it once was. But this all feels like a return to form for the show though and I'm really excited to see where they take things from here.

Omfg I hate living in the US and I hate that they changed the time that Emmerdale airs now. I can’t believe I missed seeing their first kiss in years live. 😩 Also omg the magic is so back. I felt like I was watching 2016 Emmerdale. It’s insane.
