If I were you I genuinely would not read toa and the senior year trilogy + tsats. The last coherent entry to the series is genuinely Percy Jackson’s Greek gods / heroes. The second book of toa is just the lost hero but bad.
Okay, I'm getting confused here (and scared).
I thought the problem was anything written after ToA?
I guess ToA has a new set of inconsistencies, then. It's the third book the one I'm scared of, btw. I'm not ready to say goodbye to a certain character who deserved way better 😭
I'll approach the series knowing there could be problems, I think. Those books have been sitting on my shelf for years, heavily judging me. And, unfortunately, I'm not the type of reader who can pretend a series ended earlier than it did (unless I hated most of it, and it's not CHC's case, as it's something I really cared about given that I grew up with it). Otherwise, I'd just skip the new trilogy, which I call "the PJO (Disney's version) series" (but I guess I'll just have to consider it a spin off of the TV Show, and not the sequel to the books; that, at least, is something I can do). But thank you for letting me know, I'll brace byself and hope it won't totally ruin the memory of the whole series for me.
