I found this from a comment from one of rSlash's videos and they are too good to pass up What rSlash have taught me over the years:

1) Don't cut down your neighbours' trees

2) Never mess with the IT person and/or sys admin

3) Always ask for things in writing

4) If you own a business; don't treat your employees like garbage. Especially not the only person who knows how to run things smoothly

5) If you're going to commit a crime, especially federal crimes; don't be a jerk to everyone around you. That way, it'll be less likely you're going to be reported to the authorities by whoever you've pissed off
