So, we all know how centaur children develop, we've seen bug ferret children, but I dont think I've seen an avian child. Are they born featherless or do they have soft downy feathers?
I have yet to finish the diagram of how they develop in utero but avians are born looking something like this. Eyes open at 2 weeks.
The loneliest bugferret is a story about a bugferret that committed a crime so heinous that they were banished to the loneliest corner of the universe. Legend has it that they are still out there. In some Modern interpretation of the story people have garnered a lot more sympathy for the ferret and are now searching the stars in hope of finding them and reuniting them with society. But some other interpretations saying that after an eternity of being alone the loneliest bugferret has gone insane and is running further and further away from society.
Usually it's a cautionary Tale for children but in some regions The loneliest bugferret is treated as a minor God. Generally speaking the loneliest ferret has become more or less a symbol for outkast and mentally ill ferrets who are rejected by their communities. In some horror games the ferret has been interpreted as a vengeful monster who wants revenge for being banished.
The many formed god
The many formed god (in some regions known as Hulucha) said to be a a spirit that can reincarnate into any species and gender of avian. In some stories there are multiple reincarnations of Hulucha living at the same time.
And some of the oldest versions they were conceived to be more of a trickster spirit that interrupted heroes in their Journeys to test their wits. In the modern era they have become a populer culturepop icon in the Tiiliitian colony on the Hotsuuv continent. In many gender positive communities they are especially popular. A vary infamous Tiiliitian TV programs have very famously and consistently mocked this figure together with a bunch of other hotsuuv mythos for decades now.
Cleaner roaches souls that were reincarnated into the eggs of scuds. As kids they cas incredible mischief among their communities. And upon their 10th birthday If they're still acting mischievous and disobedient their shells will turn gray and get the pattern of a cleaner roach upon their backs.
Another cautionary tale for young scuds to behave themselves or else they might be transformed into a monster that is going to have to be chased away.
The blue aye’d wanderers
The blue-eyed wanderer’s are Sun Chasers who were abandoned by their clans and were left to fend for themselves. If they choose to continue their Journey around the planet and died on the road they would reawaken as a blue eyed ghost. Some say that they are gardiens that protect the ones traveling the road others say that they are an omen of immanent death.
A camen tale that Night Chasers tell there young around a warm bond fire.
made a runaway to the stars character; an avian dun with anxious pterotillomania (compulsive feather picking). Their scruffy look, bare neck and notched ear evokes a punk style - especially to those avians who are only vaguely familiar with the concept - and sometimes gets mistaken as an intentional statement.
This is my rtts oc Kariit they are the worst person you know
Your evil mother in law (or nonspecific malicious relative) if they were a bird alien from a webcomic. Has a million problems with human customs and culture and keeps mentioning the species of the cashier when it is not at all relevant to the story they’re telling

translating my fantasy victorians to the non-fantasy non-victorian setting of Runaway To The Stars. for fun!
carrie is a bug ferret (married into a pest control family); elphinstone is a shta centaur with unusually curly feather filaments; morris is a hotsuuv flightless avian with a crest pigmentation condition
