I would assume these were done by Inomata, as she illustrated the covers, though I’m not sure. I found a file of untranslated scans online somewhere lol, maybe it was Woodus

Translated a bit of the roto manga (just my favorite pages so far lol- 9 pages done out of a grand total 10,460 from both the sequel and original) Yeah- Zoma and Rubiss are pretty much married in this. Also he wanted dark powers tm in order to protect Her and his friend, didn’t exactly work as planned.

Mortamor honestly formed such a foolproof plan if you think about it. In order to even combat them at all the heroes needed to find some way to go to the Dream World... and even once they did, Mortamor set things up to make it look like Murdaw was the one causing everything.

And my personal favorite: Pegasus.

The only way to make it to the Dread Realm without Mortamor's invitation is Pegasus. Mortamor had Murdaw separate Pegasus from their Real World counterpart, the way Murdaw did to your team. The Dream World counterpart of Pegasus was just a normal horse by appearances. If the heroes discovered that they needed to find Pegasus they would have no idea where to even start! She could be literally any horse in the entire Dream World!  

So how did they manage to overcome Mortamor's brilliant planning? Luckily, the heroes had a little help from the Goddess, Rubiss. 

Rubiss knew about Mortamor's plans and was able to counter them. It was no coincidence that Carver and the Hero just so happened to cross paths in the castle and certainly no coincidence that they just so happened to find the Pegasus' dream world counterpart to pull their wagon so that the Hero could join the guard.

Rubiss carefully set things up in such a way that the heroes would accidentally undo all of Mortamor's brilliant plans and I just love that so much.
