THIS IS GONNA BE A HARD PILL TO SWALLOW BUT RUBY AND OLIVIA DIDNT EVEN GET MORE THAN 20 MINUTES TO HAVE WHAT THEY HAD (DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER HIM SAYING THAT OLIVIA’S PARENTS WOULD CALL BACK IN 20 MINUTES BECAUSE THEY LOST CONNECTION, YEA I CANT SEEM TO FORGET)
“Are you crazy?” (Olivia to Forrest) // “Have you fallen asleep on me?” (Ezra to Ruby) // “Bunny pyjamas, really?” (Olivia to Ruby)
“I prefer spirited,” Forrest countered, pointing a finger at Olivia. “Or passionate. But not crazy.” Sure, he did some stupid shit but it wasn’t because he was crazy. He was just intense and had a lot of passion for things that he believed in or for things he wanted. He wanted Olivia and if acting a bit like a fool was what it took to get her attention then, well, he’d do it. Maybe he was a little crazy... but it ran in the family so it wasn’t his fault.
“Yes...” Ruby mumbled, nuzzling in closer to Ezra’s side. She was usually all for listening to her boyfriend talk about his day and the problems that he may have encountered but today she was beyond exhausted. She’d worked at the diner from open to close and then helped clean up after closing. She wanted to die she was so tired. Ruby wouldn’t say this out loud but tonight she just wanted Ezra to be quiet and rub her back.
“Shut up,” Ruby snapped as she shuffled towards Olivia’s couch. “My boyfriend is lying to me and potentially cheating on me and these are the most comfortable pajamas I own.” She wasn’t meaning to lash out on Olivia but she was in a mood and her friend was the only one around. “Can we just watch a movie and eat? Do you have any alcohol? I need some, like, shots or something.” Drinking wasn’t the answer but she hardly cared.
