I finally drew all my babies. They’re not super detailed or neat but I wasn’t trying all too hard with them. I just wanted to confirm what they looked like since most of them I only seen in my mind.

Have you seen that Ruby Barker was recently hospitalized for a mental health crisis? If they kill off Marina, even if it’s off-screen, that’s even more gross imo.

I did see and I was really saddened to hear it. It is my understanding Ruby said in an Instagram post that she'd been struggling since Bridgerton. I don't know much more than that, but I (and others I spoke with) cannot help but think about the racist and sexist backlash that Ruby's character Marina recieved post-S1 and S2, and how that might potentially have impacted Ruby's mental and emotional wellbeing.

The thing is, Marina's depression and subsequent death were already tragic, but writing a young woman of color experiencing this is even more tragic, especially considering that her death would pave the way, essentially, for two entirely white couples' happily-ever-afters. There is a sense of bitterness to it all, and for me, anger because the writers are apparently so disgustingly tone-deaf and tasteless.
