I'm through Silver Shadows and Adrian is starting to annoy me. I don't know why this guy deserves so much love from everyone. After Last Sacrifice I almost understood it, but now not anymore.
The annoyance with Adrian start from me in Last Sacrifice. He was always counting on Rose and never on himself. In the relation he was always playing the role of the victim and never tooks lifematters in his own hands. I was agreeing on Rose with that part (not the part when she was cheating on Adrian with Dimitri). I get why Adrian was angry with Rose, but he also could learn from her words.
When I was reading Bloodlines I had hope for Adrian that he was changing and in the begins of the serie he wasn't. He could only think about himself and his miserable life. He was drinking and has s*x with so many girls and all the time he knows that Jill was feeling it also, but he never thought about her. When Sydney mentions it he was trying to stop it and he did really hard his best for it.
So throughtout the Golden Lily, Indigo Spell and Fiery Heart he was trying to be his best, but only for Sydney. It's the second time he is counting on a girl. Was Sydney not in his life he didn't make the change. You can read it in Silver Shadows. Sydney is gone and all his good behaviour is gone.
He makes never good life choices on his own. If he is alone he only is complaining about his miserable life and drinking.
I'm not even going to talk about the flirting, while Sydney is in re-education. I hope he will confess it to Sydney, because Sydney has still hope he is looking for her, but she deserves the thruth.
One other point why Adrian is annoying. He changes for every girl his personality. Don't they like smoking, he will stops. Are they against drinking, he will stop. Are they hoping he will gets education, he will gets education. That is also the reason why I think the relation between Sydney and Adrian isn't health. He can't be himself because of what Sydney expect.
I hope that Adrian is going to work on himself before he will get in another relation.
