Tranquil Believer Concept Art

I've been meaning to do the proper design of this Possibility for a while.

The Category Title of "Tranquil" is supposed to refer to the disposition which leads these characters in their stories. It's a tranquility that comes from being wholly devoted to something, undisturbed by their action. In this case, Blake is completely devoted to the White Fang and stands at its helm.

Other Tranquil characters are assassins and criminal versions of the more heroic characters, but I think it would be wrong to say that being at the head of the White Fang is "villainous" or evil. She's Blake, and so she's devoted to that same equality as in the main series.

Rather, I think her "Tranquility" comes from an adoration of battle. She loves the idea of "fighting for ones beliefs" and finds tranquility in living according to that idea. She doesn't care who she kills as long as it's for her cause.

I hesitate to call her a darwinist, because that implies a standard she imposes on others. "The Strong Survive" isn't accurate. It's more like "I am Strong, so I survive." Essentially, she wants to live long enough that she can set up a world of equals and then be killed in a duel.

I would have loved y’all to guess the song but it is so random that it took me several months to decide how to make it fit for the RWBY animatic soooooo no, we will make it a surprise, shall we???
