After that major incident last time, we took the chance, while restoring the house, to go through all the books and decorative ornaments. Everything has been returned to its proper place now.
Today is only a thorough cleaning. With weather this nice, it's a good day for it.
Are you asking about Mehrak? It's taken a bit of an interest in tidying things up lately, and even comes to help from time to time. I always check everything over again at the end anyway, so don't worry. It won't cause any trouble.
People get passing interests like that from time to time too. They usually don't last long enough to justify signing up for a proper class, but learning a little on your own is just about right.

Like, currently I'm writing Elden Ring!Haikaveh AU and for some reason Alhaitham has soooooooooo much one sided beef with Marika, it's not even funny

Also yes the AU is based on the drawings of the Architect of Irminsul/Knight(????) thing, if anybody can point me to the source author of the art I would love to credit them for inspiration!!! I couldn't find them again on my own and don't have the art saved anywhere it seems.
More AU ramblings below the cut. Like, a lot of them
Like if you're really interested, I think I might have a theory (bc I'm the author duh) but I don't really know if I want to explore it or not. For one thing, Alhaitham is numen/shaman in this AU (silver hair + life of solitude) and a scholar, and through Magical Shenanigans he starts his life in the Lands after Marika already committed war against the hornsent and sealed the village away. I like to think that he was a late flower on the Grandmother's tree. Thus, it might make him and Marika kind of kindred. So it's like he's looking at his elder sister being like 'damn you live like this smh' type of thing.
For the duration of the plot of Elden Ring he doesn't involve himself in anything, simply studying away his time in Raya Lucaria's Academy (that I still call Akademiya hehe). He does involve himself when the Erdtree starts to burn, but simply because he discovers that there might be an Irminsul, the Great Tree's twin - tree of all knowledge.
And hence the Golden Order is no more, Marika's magic is slowly fading, so he manages to find Irminsul and! a certain architect guarding it!!!

I tried to envision the concept for Kaveh, and I think I will go with him being a creation of Marika that she initially prepared specifically for Miquella. Like I am such a strong believer that Kaveh would kinda follow Miquella's teachings it's not even funny lol. But at the same time I had many thoughts in mind about the general role of Kaveh and I may settle on this specific origin: he is a (perfect) gift for Miquella (like Kaveh feels like someone Marika would want to create, idk), possibly intended as an already prepared consort if Miquella decides to go for the divinity thing (which he eventually does, but completely on his own -> canon/DLC route). I think that Marika yeets Kaveh to forever guard the Irminsul tree before she is sealed away right after Godrick's death bc he is complacent and it is already obvious for her that Miquella doesn't want him as a consort (can you tell I'm trying to play really hard into the convoluted and messed up nature of the relationships between the gods in the original? Great, thank you!).
Anyways, end of the Golden Age, stars set in motion, fate begins to run again, Erdtree wilts/dies, Alhaitham goes looking for the Irminsul and finds Kaveh! Whose divinity still ties him to the Erdtree (Magic Shenanigans TM), and so they travel around a little re-discovering Alhaitham's past and, well. Making sure Kaveh is not irreversibly traumatised by all the time he spent alone.
Surprise spoiler: Mehrak is a lioness construct in this, built entirely by Kaveh and posessing a piece of his soul (theme of being split as a narrative, bc we split a lot of stuff in the original, etc etc). Idk if I want to go the route of making her his Shadow, bc then he'd be a true demi-god, but who knows! who knows.
Anyways the point is that we will re-assemble Kaveh a little bit (thus confronting the theme of gods splitting apart) and eventually move on from the lands Between (thus closing Alhaitham's inability to move from his place of birth). Ofc they'll remain together, they are inseparable in any and every universe lol
