My rundown of the new AWAE (CANADIANS ONLY)... for now
Anne and Gilbert don’t just know they like each other. They’ve both said they love each other. Winnie is toast now, I just hope Anne makes it in time. Plus the way he was looking at her by the fire... ugh they better make this right (this show knows how to tug the heartstrings)
Diana was kinda making me upset last episode but this Sunday was her DAY bitch. I knew there was no hope for her and Jerry from the beginning, I just hope Jerry is okay and I’m happy Diana took the Queens and that she reunited with Anne. They truly are the closest of bosom friends.
Ka’kwet was breaking my heart, but she made it home! I’m glad she’ll be okay, and I’m sure she will not leave the others at that horrid place so she’ll enlist Anne and maybe some of the other Mi’kmaq to free them somehow. I’m excited to see this season’s revolution because they have one whenever they near a season’s end.
I feel so bad for Bash and his mother. She always assumes the worst of white people (rightfully so, we kinda suck) so I hope Gilbert will be able to change her mind. I hope Bash and his mother can bond once more. (Side note: glad Miss Stacy and Bash had some solidarity, but I’m also like “your wife jUST died my guy”).
RACHEL LYNDE FUCKING KILLED THIS EPISODE!!! She came in and said, “you may be a little bitch, but I’m a big bitch and I will ruin your fuckin life if you don’t let me and my fellow girl bosses make some decisions around here.” She and Marilla are a POWER DUO and I was SMILING every time I saw them.
Minnie May surprised me with her really well-done acting. Plus she was spitting truth (she’s a miniature Prissy Andrews). Her and Aunt Jo were the real game-changers this episode (but no Cole??? Blasphemy CBC, absolute blasphemy).
YO THOSE KIDS GOT FUCKED UP ON SHINE!!! I did not know they would be boozing today but then Diana said “two shots of vodka” and fucking sent that shit down the hatch and I was like “oh it’s this kind of episode”. Also, those bitches were fucking playing Red Rover and I got WAR FLASHBACKS wow.
Good ep, literally cannot wait for the next episode!
