She almost had a mini-heart attack upon seeing him. The giant kraken had been taken aback by his size and she carefully scuttled back as she kept her large arms against her chest, attempting to quell her racing heart.
"A-Am I intruding? I'm sorry. I-I was just exploring..." It became one of Ruby's favorite past times now that she was able to enter the ocean. But it didn't come without dangers of course...

She's frantically trying to find something that'll help put out the fire she might've accidentally started. All she wanted to do was impress the other with her laser eyes! Not have this happen!

"What....are you? I've never seen anything like you before!" She couldn't even remotely hide her curiosity when the other just popped into existence. An alien? A...being from another dimension? Both? Hopefully she could get an answer.
"What am I? Why, I'm a muse! I go around trying to help worlds in need...though I am fairly limited in what I can do myself! I've been keeping my eye on your little world for quite some time now and I have to say I'm impressed with you! You did the one thing your entire family couldn't figure out; beating Nerissa for good!"
"You've uh...you've been watching me?" That doesn't settle well with her. An arm comes up to tug upon her sweater. "Isn't that a little...creepy?" A strange look is shot towards this odd floating triangle person.
"I suppose that's one way of looking at it, but I mean no harm in it! It's my only way of seeing things till you fall asleep! You've got any questions of the underwater world or even beyond that? I can give you a few notes if you're interested! I may not be able to help out in big ways, but I can certainly do it by passing on some knowledge to such a talented and aspiring gal such as yourself!" Black arms travel behind his back as he observes the kraken before him.
"W-Well..." If all of this was true then she couldn't pass this up, right? This might be a once in a lifetime chance to learn! Both about her home and beyond! "...I um, I guess asking a few questions wouldn't hurt. If you're okay with that?"

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't know!" A hand awkwardly rubs at the back of her neck. She does not have much experience when it comes to color-blindness so Ruby's unsure of how to handle this.
"Um...is there like, anything I can do or...?"
Ruby its been awhile how are you?
"I'm doing okay! Just trying to juggle handling schoolwork, hanging out with my friends, and the occasional threat that pops up." It can be a little tiring at times but honestly, she wouldn't change it. She just felt so much more alive! "I'm planning on doing a deep dive into the ocean tomorrow. Just to see what I can find in it!"
