Happy three years to season 3 Juby! My favorite fic I’ve ever written to this day. This fic is truly where I became a writer, I made so many friends during this era, one of them being my best friend in the whole world @thatsthewaythechrissycrumbles (thank you for always proofreading my chapters and hyping me up).
Please consider reading Paper Rings today, this fic is so special to me and is probably my favorite era of Juby.
One day I’ll rewrite the fic, but for now enjoy the perfection I think it is🫶🏻
Happy Valentine’s Day to them and only them🫶🏻✨
Watched the opalite music video today and I’m feeling inspired so I’ll let y’all pic!
I’m gonna do an opalite au based on the video, so.
Who should the opalite au be about?
Juby
Raige
Chudy (first ever)
The Chain- Chapter Four
December 23rd, 1971
Ruby was laying on the couch in the studio, her notebook held above her as she scribbled down lyrics, humming along to an invisible melody in her head.
JJ, who had been putting away the instruments looked over, a cigarette dangling out of his mouth as he shook his head with a smile, she hadn’t put down that notebook in a month.
He looked around, making sure the coast was clear before going over, stubbing out his cigarette in the ashtray, gently taking the notebook from her hands.
Idea I have planned for season 5.
Warning: possible-ish spoilers? I have no clue if some sort of scene like this will happen, I just have an idea for it.
The Chain- Chapter Three
November 22nd, 1971
JJ woke up in the back of John B’s van, rubbing his eyes groggily as he took in his surroundings, California was just a desert it seemed.
Ruby woke up next, already grabbing her camera and sticking her head out the window to snap pictures of the different cacti they passed, her eyes wide in awe and wonder.
