Ok so I rewatched RWBY season one and I'm the opening, you see Ruby standing behind a woman in a white cape. So, Ruby's mom "died" but I think that she's faked her death and is actually Salem. Boom

Hmmmm well my best advice I think I could give is to set check points and priorities;

If you need to have a car first, work to that first.

Be honest about your income and what you can afford. Make a spreadsheet with all of your expenses listed as they are now, then add all your approximated expenses and evaluate what it is you can or cannot afford.

Don’t be afraid to take a risk. Get a roommate, move out of state to afford cheaper rent. Think through all your options to figure out different plans.

Be flexible so that if plans change — you’re ready for it.

Important: check in with your self and focus on your mental health throughout the process. It can be stressful, but it can also be a light at the end of a tunnel. Just make sure to take care of yourself.
