FYI: This is NOT hate towards people who headcanon him as gay. Just people who freak the fuck out over him being bi/pan.

I don't write for Eddie as much anymore because some people would act like I was making him less queer by writing him bisexual even though that probably makes him more queer because in the community where you're supposed to be safe from judgement and hate, you're not. In a perfect world, Eddie Munson being bisexual should be just as queer as him being completely gay but alas. . .however, Eddie Munson's attraction to women is completely canon only because the Duffers seem to live and breathe ambiguity (they can never just say shit right out, can they?). Judging by the way he reacts around Chrissy, the way he looks up those cheerleaders skirts, and the fact that he had a magazine of a woman with her bare ass hanging out by his bed. . .we can conclude that not only is he an ass man but also a tit man (the way he stared at Steve's 👀), but it doesn't really matter what gender. We don't talk about pansexual Eddie either, come to think. He still would bond with Robin over being queer. Him liking women, too, wouldn't make their friendship any less special. Plus, Steve and Eddie admitting they like everything about porn including some of the men in there, makes for a good fanfic. . .I mean, because Steve and Eddie bonding over being bisexual then fucking about it is gold. Bi4Bi Steddie will always hold my heart even though I don't write for them anymore.

I love Mileven, I love Byler, and I wish there were more people who could acknowledge that both ships are good. I also wish more people could acknowledge that Mike isn't the bad guy but a traumatized teenager stuck into an awkward position who knows about how to deal with romance as much as El or Will as well as feelings. There are some good things they did with his character, but his character has just been as much of a victim of poor writing as much as Will and El have. . .well, maybe not as much as El. Finn didn't get much of a say, just as Noah and Millie didn't get as much of a say. Both ships should have been this fun thing to experience on here, and while some people on both sides are responsible for their actions. . .Milevens have also got a lot of unfair hatred on here to the point where a lot of them have been bullied off here. I'm talking about the nice ones who fought to make a place here, but who don't feel welcome because they've been viciously and unfairly attacked. I acknowledge that there are asshole Milevens, but the numbers don't lie here. You can look at them and see. While some of you should take responsibility and acknowledge that this should be a place for both ships. . .I also acknowledge that the Duffers Brothers have teased the shit out of Bylers. They have SHIPbaited the hell out of you guys. They fanned the flames for this ship war because it boosted them up, and it got them more attention as well as more money. I'm sorry that they did this. If Will and Mike were never going to happen, they shouldn't have fucking baited you guys. There's clear evidence that they did, and it really sucks that they did that to you. Just as they ship baited so many others. It's not Milevens' fault because they also got the short end of the stick. It wasn't about ships to them, but they made it about ships, and they teased the shippers. They made El's character all about Mike, Will's character mostly about Mike, and Mike's character all about them, leaving them to barely interact with any other characters. To me, I should think Milevens and Bylers should come together to be friends. Don't give the Duffers anymore attention. Even though they probably deserve it, even hating them gives them attention. I feel for Bylers, I do, but I also feel for Milevens. If it wasn't about ships, then why make their characters all about the ships? I don't want to spend so much energy hating the Duffers, but all it takes is one comment from them, and I'm annoyed again. If this post gives them attention. . .I hope not. . .If so, this will be my last post about them. I spent too much time being pissed off by them.

I've seen valid reasons for not liking Stancy. Is it not your cup of tea? Okay, I get that. However, I've seen so many people sound like they swallowed the Stancy hating Kool-Aid. The Duffers wanted you to hate the ship, for whatever reason, but I think if you found that if you stop drinking the kool aid and realize that the ship isn't as bad as you think it is. It's just not for you. It's not a bad ship. It's gotten a lot of unfair hate because of the Duffers and because someone claimed it as a misogynistic ship, so that's all people see. At the end of Nancy's relationship with Jonathan, they had way more problems, and yet the Duffers believed they could work out. There's no reason why you can't like Jancy but have no problem with Stancy. In fact, if you wanted to, you could ship both. "But Steve was an asshole." I'm so tired of that argument. I love Jonathan, but JONATHAN WAS AN ASSHOLE TO NANCY, TOO! NANCY FORGAVE THEM BOTH! Neither Steve nor Jonathan know Nancy better. They just know Nancy in different ways because there are different aspects to Nancy's character, but they both love her for the very same reasons. She's headstrong and willing to fight for the people she cares about. Steve Harrington became a better person for it. I've seen so many people complain about their partners and wish they do better. . .well, Steve literally walked away from the life he knew: popularity, his friends (yeah, they were shitty but that doesn't matter). He gave up his title of King Steve. He realized what was truly important because he was inspired by Nancy. He didn't justify his actions, either. He just said he was sorry, and he messed up. For me, that's the hottest thing a man can do. Like that's attractive shit, right there. No, Steve didn't pressure Nancy into having sex. . .she WANTED to. She knew exactly what that "party" was, and she wanted to get into Steve’s pants as much as he wanted to get into hers. The way they framed it wasn't to show that Nancy was trying to be someone else. They could have done that in so many other ways. They wanted to slut shame Nancy for wanting to be with someone like Steve instead of someone like Jonathan. Like, I'm sorry, you think you're being feminists but you actually drank the misogyny Kool-Aid. Like I said, I've seen people give out reasons of their own for not liking it, and I respect that. But from haters, I've seen the same things regurgitated over and over. The absolute hate is so forced. "They don't want the same thing." Yeah, apparently, neither do Nancy and Jonathan because they broke up. My whole point is that you can like Jancy but there's no fucking reason to be such dicks about Stancy because in the end Jancy basically won and Stancy didn't get in the way of Jancy but with the way Jancy started out, it absolutely got in the way of Stancy. They dangled the ship in front of us bait on a hook, and then they gave us nothing. Nancy said that Steve's dream was nice, but she didn't know what she wanted. It doesn't mean she wouldn't necessarily eventually want that or make her any less Nancy Wheeler. Granted, she might not want as many kids or at all, but with Steve being a coach, he might be okay with that. Alan Rickman wanted kids, and his wife didn't, but his love for her was greater than his want for kids. He could imagine a life without kids but not without her. Sometimes, those situations work out if you love the person more. Not always but sometimes. Considering Steve walked away from what he wanted before, something told me that he'd happily do it for Nancy Wheeler again. "If you ship Stancy, you only care about Steve." No, I think it's sad that Nancy was made to feel ashamed and stupid for having feelings for Steve, and she never got to acknowledge that they did nothing wrong by having sex that night. There's no reason for Stancy to deserve this much hate. It's not as bad as they made you believe it is. Why pit Steve and Jonathan against each other when you can love them both? It's okay, I do. I love Jancy and Stancy, too.

There's a multiverse in my head of my different ways Steve Harrington discovers his bisexuality (not a single goddamn one involves Bully Harcunt because there's no universe where Steve Harrington is attracted to that man). Most of them involve Eddie and I love the ones where Steve knows before because most people assume it would be the other way around. I kind of really love the rare ones where Steve thought he was gay but Nancy Wheeler woke him up because why can't a bisexual awakening happen like that, too? I love everyone's versions on here, too. Every single one of them. There's just something about Steve knowing but not really knowing, and knowing there's something not quite straight about him. It's hard to explain why I identify with this man so much. I love seeing all the different ways people write about him coming to terms with himself, too. Maybe it's because the characters on the show don't think Steve knows what it's like to be different and that he couldn't possibly understand what it feels like to be different. I think he understands more than they think he does and maybe even more than he thinks he does. *sigh* I'm rambling again.

I'm trying to go to bed early for once but thoughts keep popping into my head. Thinking about how in Rebel Robin, Robin heard about Steve breaking Jonathan's camera and in her mind, he was an asshole for it, and assumed he was just being a bully even more so for what Jonathan was going through. . .but do you think Robin would change her tune if she ever found out WHY Steve broke his camera? I need to stop being so obsessed over this shit but once the thought is in my brain, I just need to get it out even if no one responds. Then I also think about Steve, I don't think he would ever admit why he broke the camera because he firmly believes that no one would believe him and also, it would sound like he was making up excuses for his actions. So, how would Robin even find out?? Would Nancy tell her?? This scriptbook is bringing back all this bullshit I thought I was done with.

Respecting Jane means she chooses whatever kind of life she wants to even if you don't like it but a lot of you guys don't get that. She did the whole independence thing during the Lost Sister storyline, and she's proved that she doesn't need people all the time but the fact that she wants people in her life, specifically Mike. You guys scream for her independence but what you really want is for her to be single because you can have independence and still be in a relationship. She's also proven that she can do that too. When her choice is Mike, you guys disrespect her character time and time again. You treat her like she doesn't have a single goddamn thought in her head when it comes to Mike Wheeler. He's never forced her to do anything that she didn't want to. You don't have to like Mileven, but stop acting like she doesn't have a choice when it comes to Mike Wheeler. She wanted to be with Mike and even if they eventually break up, that's still a choice that SHE made and no one else made it for her. Is she impressionable? Yes, but she is not stupid. She's actually incredibly smart. She loves her dad and she loves Mike. They might not be perfect but the thing that you guys close your eyes to is the fact that Jane wants them in her life. She wants to be able to depend on people and you know why she wants to be able to depend on people and figure things out on her own? Because she's never been able to do that before and y'all want to take that away from her. She can be independent and dependent at the same time. Do I think maybe she should be single for a while? Yeah, but also I think if she does choose Mike later in life that it would also be good for her, too. It would be her choice. Her relationship with Mike isn't as toxic as you think it is. You don't have to like her relationship with Mike but you guys better start throwing some respect towards the choices she's made because she is NOT stupid. You should also recognize that she's highly empathetic and that she wears stuff that reminds hers of the people she loves, who loves her which is again a choice she's made. Realistically, because of the situation Brenner put her in, she's never going to be fully independent. She's going to be relying on people, not just because she wants to but because she has to. Those are both important things to recognize: what she WANTS and what she NEEDS. Stop confusing independence with being single, they're two completely different things.

*sigh* People who ship Mileven aren't homophobic JUST because they ship Mileven. (Yes, I have seen some Milevens be homophobic but we don't like them.) I can't believe I'm saying this but yes, straight people exist but also by making that assumption that shipping Mileven means you're homophobic, you're jumping to the conclusion that just because a couple or ship is M/F presenting means they can't also be queer and you're jumping to the conclusion that there aren't people, like myself, who think they're queer even if end up getting together. It's a biphobic, panphobic, transphobic, and all-around queerphobic statement. You're making a huge terrible assumption about everyone in the ship and it's gross behavior. But also, just because people think Mike and Jane are straight doesn't mean they're homophobic. Mike's sexuality as well as Jane's is still undetermined which means people are welcome to think they're straight, it doesn't mean they're homophobic. Yes, I have seen homophobic statements from toxic Milevens but that does NOT mean the ship itself is homophobic or that ALL Milevens are homophobic. Stop acting like Milevens are the only problem in this bullshit war. Bylers aren't the ones being bullied off of Tumblr, in fact, Bylers pretty much rule this site. Imagine how much happier you guys would be if you just stopped trying to prove which ship is better and stopped trying to make the other ship toxic. Imagine if you guys welcomed each other with open arms, imagine being friends with each other even though you don't ship the same thing. That's a pipe dream, though. I will never stop defending Milevens or Bylers, but it's tiring to see all the fighting. I don't care who started it, no one will never truly know who did, but man, someone should just throw the fucking sword down. I think this might be my last message though. I'm just going to block idiots.

Steve wasn't a bully, but he was as asshole in season one. Eddie wasn't a bully, but he was shown to be an asshole. They were both victims of forced conformity. Society wanted them to be enemies, for them to see each other differently. The best thing about it is that they both broke away from that perception. Now, Eddie could see that Steve was a good man, and Steve could see that Eddie was, too. They could see that they weren't all that different. They had something in common, something worth fighting for. Eddie needed to see that not all jocks were bullies, and for Steve, he needed to see that Dustin wasn't trying to replace him. Yes, Eddie was an asshole and there are things he needs to apologize for, but he's still clearly a good guy. That goes for Steve, too. He was an asshole in season one, and he more than made up for it. I think one of the things that is pretty consistent and I find in my experience that all teenagers are assholes. But one thing the Duffers made abundantly clear these two are good guys, and they're definitely flawed. I love them so much. The term "bully" has never fit Steve Harrington even in season one. The scene where they paralleled basketball and D&D was perfect because, in the end, they aren't all that different. Steve and Eddie are just prime examples of that and that you don't have to hate the other side.

Sorry for rambling. . .ugh, I just hate the term because it's not accurate. There was no proof he bullied anyone. The camera isn't proof, that was justified, and Robin was jealous that Tammy was looking at him, not her. Of course, he didn't notice her. He can't actually know everyone in school. Robin's an asshole, too. I love her, but she is. So are Nancy, Jonathan, Dustin, Mike, Lucas, El, Max, and yes, even Will has been an asshole at times. Being a teenager is the most awkward time because are you a child, or are you an adult? No, you're some weird thing in between. I think the Duffers captured that really well. Just because someone calls you an asshole doesn't mean you're a bully. Again, sorry for the ramble.
