No memes today, have some weird news for ya.

Attention: many Russian text. It doesn’t make sense because I’ve said enough in English, but it’s a kind of a proof and a source for my Russian subscribers who could help.

Some time ago the administrator of Russian community “ARTSCP”, which was biggest in Internet for his artworks and publications in SCP fandom, took the SCP icon and made it his own copyrighted mark.

Law supported him as a creator of idea and fandom, so moderators started to block other Russian SCP communities as ones who were taking this copyright. Sounds weird, but it’s true.

It’s really serious. Many fests and events, many offices and official art books, merch, articles in the internet can be banned because of “copyright offenses”.

Now all the fandom tries to have a dialogue with ARTSCP administrator, mr Andrey Duksin, for him to refuse copyrights. And soon he’ll have a proceeding with fandom’s people because of his theft. Hope SCP in Russia will stay ok, but things are very complicated by now.

By now, russian fandom started a flashmob #SCPфэндомпротивТЗ (“SCP fandom don’t support this copyright”). We’re trying to protect rufandom from this weirdo.

SCP is a fandom built by hundreds of talented artists and writers, it’s an unique work of art and urban culture staying in internet. It’s a kind of worldwide folklore, and we, russian people, don’t want it to belong to some dude who decided to make some money with it, even if it will work only in our country.

Group of Gruvia in VK

Hey, everyone, I’m sorry if there will be any mistakes in this post - English is not my native language, but anyways, Today I’d like to inform all of you about this Gruvia-fan community(https://vk.com/gruvia) on Russian website called VK. I endured their awful actions and words for a long period of time but their last conflict made me so mad, so I can’t stand it anymore. These people won’t respect you and any kind of your art if there are characters that they don’t like in it(it’s mostly about Lucy Heartfilia and her and Natsu’s child - Nancy). They crop and cut off these characters from people’s art, so there is only Gruvia or their child left.

And now, about the last conflict that made me write this post; this shameful and disrespectful event happened to this artist: @chengggg . They’ve drawn 2 very cute arts with NaLu and Gruvia children but the administrator from this Russian Gruvia community cut off Nancy, the NaLu kid, as if it was like this, without her, from the beginning. As if @chengggg drew it like this. I don’t know how this artist has found out about this, but I grateful people that told him, and they made an account in VK, came to this community and asked people there to not to cut their artwork, they even said that these people can repost their art but not cut it. But you know what did the administrator do in response? She deleted their comments and the cropped arts remained in the post as before!

This is unacceptable and such actions are completely disrespectful towards the artists(because this is not the first time, guys), whose drawings were cropped. I’d like to ask everyone to disseminate this information and reblog this so other people in Fairy Tail fandom, especially artists, would know that this community exists and causes lots of problems to Russian FT - fandom(we’re not all like this, and I hope you won’t judge all Russian fans only because of this group of people; furthermore - most of us don’t support this at all and we try to talk to them ourselves but for some reason we think this won’t lead us to anything, except for if more people will know about this problem).

I’m so sorry for artist and everyone, who have already become their victims.

I know this is none of my business, but my patience is shattered into little pieces, because of what this people did to Russian fandom.
