Why are people being mean to LN's girlfriend? I don't follow her Instagram but saw she commented about breaking from it because of nasty comments which assume had to do with LN or Bridgerton. That is the stupidest thing I've heard today. Get a grip on reality people! You can like the show all you want but don't meddle in the private lives of these actors. IT IS DUMB. It makes you look foolish and childish. Just wanted to point that out. Before long, LN will decide to stop participating in social media altogether, and who could blame him if he did? It's sad and it's ruining my fun, so STOP IT FOOLS!

Ruiners - Typecast ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @ruin.ers @geodesicrecords @shanseanshawn #ruiners #htx #htxpunk #houston ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been listening to Typecast all weekend while I was supposed to be working through more of my submissions backlog. Fortunately for both of us, it was a submission so it counts as progress! This is frankly one of the first albums from the hard-to-define artsy rock/punk genre that can only easily be described to the uninitiated as “sounds a whole lot like Fugazi in all of the best ways possible” that I’ve really, really enjoyed in a while. There was a brief moment in 2013 where a few bands worked in this vein and did it well but the masses weren’t ready to embrace it just yet, things were still too sunny and poppy and tinged with lo-fi instagram filters made for SXSW. I moved away from Houston in 2014 and was so focused on my own music at the time that I really wasn’t paying attention to other local artists and I missed out on the genesis of this band. They’re loud, they’re heavy, they’re cut from punk cloth, but fashioned like Midwestern rock I grew up listening to in the 90s (we can include the DC Dischord scene here too, obviously). But beyond the killer songwriting and the great production, this album plays around with adjacent genres by using the wall of noise of shoegaze, the hooks of pop punk slowed down and without bleached tips, and the slow wobbly-head beats of post-punk at its most serious. Admittedly, I don’t always keep my submissions to prevent my floor from caving in, but this is one that has already been moved to a MoFi sleeve. Usedom, 2014 _________________ Die Hubbrücke Karnin ist der mittlere Teil der Karniner Brücke, einer ehemals etwa 360 m langen Eisenbahnbrücke zwischen dem pommerschen Festland bei Kamp und der Insel Usedom bei Karnin. Das Brückenbauwerk wurde 1933 fertiggestellt; es war Bestandteil der über Swinemünde führenden Bahnstrecke Ducherow–Heringsdorf–Wolgaster Fähre, die heute nur noch zwischen Swinemünde und Wolgast existiert und betrieben wird. Die Überbauten beiderseits des beweglichen Hubteils wurden 1945 zerstört. Der Hubteil der Brücke steht seit Kriegsende als unverändertes Fragment und als technisches Denkmal mitten im Strom, dem inneren Küstengewässer, das das Stettiner Haff mit dem Peenestrom verbindet.
