Plot twist: they’re all imposters, just of different kinds. Jax is Jax, Cassius ... I just added eldritch horror stuff to his normal dragon features and Ruka’s a merm, normally, so it was cool trying to translate some of that.
We were playing hide n’ seek recently and imagine: lights off, can’t see anything but the glow of your weapons and your bio feedback panel. The imposter’s eyes glow when they’re hunting. It’d be terrifying, with the hiss of a helmet opening and something wet slithering out from within, with too many eyes that pierce the darkness (and electrical is absolutely a kill zone).
