saw this on a web page a while ago and so many other versions like it. As a mother of 3 teen age boys this hits home on many levels. One thing my ex and I agree upon is that the boys will always treat women with repect and expect that it in return.

RULES FOR DATING MY TEENAGE SON                  

                                                #1 He is not an ATM or your Father                         

                                                #2 Respect is a two way street, that includes his parents                              

                                                #3 NO DRAMA QUEENS Allowed                              

                                                #4 His friends are part of his life, as are yours, Don’t try to stop that                        

                                                #5 He may have friends who are girls, but they are more like sisters                       

                                                #6 I do better research than the FBI                       

                                                #7 Be a Lady                      

                                                #8 I am everywhere                      

                                                #9 DO NOT lie to me or him                        

                                                #10 He is not a doormat                               

                                                #11 He was raised to respect women                    

                                                #12 His father & I worked hard to raise a man, don’t try to change that                  

                                                #13 You break his heart I will find you…                 

                                                #14 Relationships are temporary at your age, a mother is forever                            

                                                #15 I don’t bite, hard, and will be honest with you and respect you as long as I

get the same in return
