Imagine Huntrix finds out about Rumi's heritage when a particularly nasty demon attacks them.

Zoey and Mira are fighting alone, and are swiftly overpowered. But instead of killing them, the demon begins sucking out their souls.

They think this is it, their fates sealed, only for Rumi to show up and, right as the demon is about to swallow them, wrests the souls from the demon's clutches.

She unceremoniously shoves the souls back into her fiends, and proceeds to destroy the demon. Viciously.

But only demons can do that, Zoey and Mira think as Rumi gasps for breath over her decapitated foe. Only demons can snatch souls...

Kpdh but if there was always hints of Rumi not being quite right

Everyone who saw Rumi could tell that she wasn’t quite human. There was nothing outwardly wrong with her but more of a gut feeling. She seemed to perfect, to beautiful to be human. A face like hers could hypnotize you. It’s part of the reason huntrix got such a large following. People would see Rumi’s face in a magazine or bill board cover and they couldn’t forget it. Like an itch that couldn’t be scratched until they went and listened to her sing. There were other things as well. She was too still. She could stand in the exact same position for hours. No small twitches, no swaying, just still. Zoey once had a staring competition, safe to say she lost. After that she watched Rumi. It always seemed like Rumi had to remember to blink instead of doing it automatically. Mira sometimes would have all the hairs on her neck stand up, only to look behind her and find Rumi staring. Rumi of course would just smile at her, then turn away. Mira however could not shake the feeling of being watched till Rumi left the room. Only then would tensions settle and the air would turn back to normal. The shadows too. The shadows always seemed to multiply and darken when Rumi was around them. Like they were trying to hide her, trying to make her just out of sight.

MORE OF RUMI NOT BEING QUITE RIGHT PLEASE

Lots of people have been liking my other post so here’s my attempt at more.

Rumi liking being a demon hunter because it makes her feel like a predator. She enjoys the chase, the hunt, the play. Multiple times the girls have compared the way she moves to some animal when she’s chasing a demon. The way she runs faster than she should, how she’s making tight turns that are just to tight to be possible for a human, how she’s looks seconds away from pouncing on them only to restrain herself.

She’s good at mimicking sounds. It’ll sound distorted and completely wrong at first but she slowly gets better. One time as a kid, she was simply having fun making weird sounds and she accidentally mimicked Celine’s voice perfectly. Celine heard it.

Rumi really likes scaring people. She did this a lot as a kid but as she grew she realized it was some sort of demon instinct. Occasionally she accidentally scares someone, anyone, could be Bobby, could be Mira or Zoey, could be a random person walking around. It doesn’t matter, she’ll pretend to be sorry but on the inside she bouncing around with excitement. It makes her want to do it more. To stalk them, to scratch at their windows and doors, to watch them as they look behind them in paranoia knowing they’ll never be able to see her. Of course she doesn’t actually want to do this, it’s more an urge or instinct than a true want to terrorize. She often looks for ways to cope with it. Watching horror movies by herself in the dark and those YouTube audio horror stories. A few times she scared the shit out of some demons. That was the first time since they died they felt human. Not because they were happy or having fun but because they felt hunted. Scared. Derpy becomes the best way. Whenever she feels the urge she goes and find a way to scare him. (it’s basically just play to him)

It always takes her a minute to realize whatever fun little thing she’s doing is somehow related to her being part demon. When she does it ruins it for her, but every once in a while she can’t help but mimic or spook or prey on something.

I neeedddd more scary Rumi

Like I want a fan fic where she’s just absolutely terrorizing the other demons. Like let’s say one of them got a lil too close to Mira or Zoey during a fight. The next time the demon crosses over the honmoon it’s the middle of night. Everything seemed fine. It walked along the streets looking for some poor soul to eat. Then it started. That feeling when you can’t tell if it’s your imagination scaring you or something else. It continues walking. The feeling increases. It keeps walking. The feeling is loud, everything in its body is telling it to leave but if it doesn’t get at least one soul the fate that gwi-ma has in store has to be worse than this. Right? I think it would be even more scarier if Rumi was never fully seen. Just her eyes, claws, and the faint shape of herself is all. It would also be cool if she started doing things you see demons typically do in movie to other demons. Not sure how but if they ever fell asleep she’d be there. They’d start seeing her everywhere. Meanwhile Mira and Zoey are trying to figure out why all the demons are beginning to seem way more scared of them. Like screaming and crying type of stuff

The ones where she commites, the ones where her bones are broke and openly bleeding but refuses to get help, the ones where she’s praying for her patterns to go away. I want to be sobbing and depressed over how sad it is.

Happy ending are appreciate but not needed

Yk what I think is unexplored in the kpdh community? All the ways jinu could have figured out Rumi was a demon.

If he never figures out does he end up finding another reason to meet with her or does it not happen? Without jinu changing Rumi’s perception on demons do they defeat the saja boys faster so that the honmoon never breaks? Do they continue to be a challenge and Rumi fights with all the desperation she has?

What if he figures out during the idol performance? Can he change quickly enough to save her? What if he was already developing a relationship with her? Is he betrayed? Hopeful?

What if he already knew? Came into the human world knowing what she was. How would he use it against her if he had more time to plan?

What if he figures it out from another demon? Does he believe them? Would he laugh, only to be to intrigued to ignore it?

Pls use this as a starting point to write a fic or tell me about fics with this!!!!
