IN FRONT
In front of the camera for a change. Hahaha!
A month (or two) ago, Nikk and I sort of had a serious talk about life, business, and passion; we mostly focused on passion. Since we take photography not just our business but our one and ultimate passion as well, we kind of wanted to make something non-business-y (non-profitable) photography projects; something just for our satisfaction.
Portraiture has always been our favorite; that's where we feel we can mostly express ourselves. After that epiphany, we started coming up with series of projects we need to do in our lifetime. This one idea we came up with, which sort of failed to be honest will lead you into why I am posting this vanity blog.
We were shooting Dorothy for this supposed series. After the shoot, I asked Erin, who did Dorothy's make up, to teach me how to do this smokey eyes. She was happy to do so, thankfully.:3 I, then, insisted her to do Pat's as well. I won't let this day past without us all playing make up -- I thought. It was fun and a little weird for all of us; we never ever had in our entire lives such kind of play with our other girl friends. Hahah! We were like teenagers.
Thus, this! Dorothy made me pose in front of the camera. I was never comfortable in front of someone else -- except for myself and Nikk. I get really shy. I'm not sure how she managed to make me pose. Perhaps because she was a little bossy and a whole lot taller than I am. I was scared! HAHAHA! Kidding! Thanks, Dee! ;) Now I won't stress at having no Facebook profile photo to use; I have a year's worth to choose from. <3
