I'm in a class on programming languages right now, so I decided to procrastinate my actual homework by making a dope fucking magical programming language from alchemy runes
🝭A means "shoot A", and 🝏B means "a bolt of B". In both cases, 🝭🝏 means "shoot a bolt of _______"
The last symbols determine what the bolt is made of. The top one is just 🜂, the alchemical symbol for fire, so it means to shoot a bolt of fire.
The bottom one's symbol is 🜑, or "combine". "🜑AB" means "A, made more like B". In this case, "🜑🜄🜂" means "Water, made more like fire", which means heated water, so the material is steam.
We also have an error stacktrace, which was very fun to implement.
(Important to note that other than the four element symbols 🜂🜄🜁🜃, the symbol's actual historical meaning doesn't mean much and I was going mostly for what looked cool)
Going to try to keep developing this, and maybe even make a game where you program your own spells and use them to fight enemies (though Java doesn't have a great selection of game engines :( )
Some sigils scrawled over the past bit. To blossom from the mouth, to gain knowledge from the shade, to release slumber, a harvest of dying fruits.
