Tessa hadn’t thought too heavily into being 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 of the new ranks of Shadowhunter families. Her and Jem were happy in their small little home, taking in Kit was far from a worry or strain, and with little Mina just being born. Their family was happy and perfect, but looming weddings and events were around the corner, and nothing was 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐄𝐓 down her families lines, so she believed maybe it would be right if she properly introduced herself, got to 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 the new Lightwood’s, Herondale’s and Carstairs’. But one person was capturing her attention more than Jace, none other than his fiancé Clarissa Fairchild. She saw so much of Matthew in her, that fiery red hair never left the family and it warmed Tessa’s heart. A quick portal and Tessa was at the Institute, little baby Mina bundled up in her arm as she pushed open the doors. It was busier now than it ever was before, 𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒 of the London Institute in her head as she wandered the halls. Tessa’s eyes caught that fiery red hair and she made haste to follow it, wanting to get to know the woman who was names in partial of her. “𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐄 for intruding Clary, I just wanted to talk.”
