Our first NottPott fanwork festival is ready to launch this Sunday, June 14th!

The theme is Love at First Sight. The Love at First Sight NottPott Festival is about celebrating two things:

The moment you fell in love with the pairing

The moment Harry and Theo fall in love with each other

This is a prompt meme! That means if you already have an idea rattling around in your brain for a one-shot, a meet cute, a drabble, a poem, a song, a podfic of a fic you have an idea for, a piece of art, comic, sketch, WHATEVER - then this festival is for you! If it captures the moment Theo has that sinking realization that he's somehow fallen way too deep for Harry and he has no idea when he got there, or if it's the day that Harry loudly (and maybe violently) declares to the world that Theo is his and no one is allowed to hurt him, or maybe it's simply the first instance they felt butterflies for each other, or maybe it's them apologizing after a fight, or maybe....

Okay, you get the idea.

In this prompt meme, you can submit as many ideas as you like! Tropes, tags, situations, inspirational quotes, anything. You must submit a prompt that loosely describes your own work if you plan to self-claim.

But! If you want some outside inspiration, you can also claim some open prompts and go wherever your muse takes you.

This festival is meant not only to highlight our two favorite characters, but also to highlight the moment you fell in love with NottPott (or Theorry or Runeseeker, however you like to name the pairing!). Whatever it is about NottPott that just does it for you, chase that trope! Write that one-shot!

@wixenforever @jundsthoughts Can you guys tell I love scenes where Harry and Theo say idgaf to their respective house rivalries, ultimately choosing each other? Yeah.

In canon, Harry just went through a lot of isolation during year 5. And, you know, the rest too. But this was a next level, and Ron and Hermione were busy with their things too, so it felt particularly striking. Good thing Harry met Luna. I dont know if you plan adding Luna as plot relevant, but in my head, shes probably there, also giving no fucks, and maybe joining the table alongside these two or something.

I love Botl Blaise, I cant wait to read more of him. Here, Blaise proceeds to also not give a fuck. John goes to the rescue. Draco draco’s. Theo gets over some uncomfortableness for a friend’s sake and Harry fucking appreciates it. Seamus—is a scared kid going through it and lashing out. Luckily for him, Theo is somewhat merciful and chose the pacific route this time. Also Severus the Long Suffering is there too. Hi Minerva.

Hehe, this is my first post in general on the NottPott bubble.

I wanted to ask anyone that feels like answering, how do y'all prefer to see Theo? And maybe Harry, if you deviate from the movie looks as I do?

I try to change up his looks for every AU idea I have, but I tend to stick to a few details for, such as: slightly wavy hair, crooked teeth (more specifically with uneven teeth or a snaggletooth like below), pale, tall and lean like a beanpole, usually with gucci eyebags and his eyes being his most striking feature.

I am more of an art guy, so I might upload some of how I imagine and play with those visuals, but I do have my own personal general fancast for how he'd look and sound in my mind, that being Jacob Lofland.

I am really curious on what other people might have on art ideas or fancasts...

Pt.1 of NottPott House for a day comic snippet. Inspired by the The really cool nottpott fic The Burning of The Library written by @wixenforever here. Bit of Spoilers below.

Based on Chapter…what chapter? 22? 23? When Theo and Harry reveal to each other in a burst of hysterics and laughter that originally, the hat wanted to put Harry in Slitherin and Theo in Gryffindor, but didnt because they both chose to stick with their friends instead. The irony of it all, really.

i feel like once Harry sheds away his preconceptions about houses and that it isn't that serious, actually, he might just about drag Theo to cause some mischief. Maybe Harry’s curious and wants to get a taste of what it could have been. Theo, too.

Another comic inspired by the awesome NottPott fic, The Burning of The Library by wixen here. In which Blaise is a suave motherfucker who wants Theo to get a hint, and ends up realising that the whole thing is deeper than both Draco and he thought. Theo remains oblivious for the most part, hidden under layers of intensity he doesnt have a name to yet.

Blaise, draco, who are used to this level of caring for one another from their parents. Also, common sense and Theo being an open hearted mf: 😳😳😳
