Log 7, Day 211
Location: Shack
Occupants: Runner 24
Status: Stranded
A few days ago, we all thought we saw a New Canton runner trying to run along the outskirts of the horde. We only saw the one runner, and they seemed to be not having a great time at it. I didn’t want to risk the NC runners, so I decided to go out on my own. We all have headsets and changed to a different frequency together, so that I can keep in touch and they can try to direct me as best as they can. And out I went. It took a few dicey minutes for me to catch up to the NC runner...but they were just a fast zom...that proceeded to chase me instead. I quickly lost sight of our house, but managed to find shelter in this little shack. It’s held up so far, what with the horde closing in on all sides now. But, I’m not sure how much longer it’ll last. I have enough provisions to keep me going for a few more days...but I’m really going to need to figure out how to get back to the rowhome.
@thrunnerfive here you go, posting it here too bc you deserve it and I love you and your Five/24 (also i forgot to post it yesterday lol)

More discord sketches for your enjoyment, this one is a mix of sad and feral. More sad though. Some old stuff as well xDD
Log 6, Day 208
Location: Abandoned rowhome
Occupants: Runner 24 and L, R, and V
Status: Unchanged
Today was a blur. Much like every day now. For a short time, we got to listen to Maxine’s voice through the radio. She led us through some exercises, mostly strength training today. As a runner, it is vital to maintain some sort of physical exercise every day. If we don’t, we will lose aerobic fitness, and that was hard earned to begin with. Besides, when the time comes, it will be vital that we have everything we need to make an escape. Our food stores will only last for so long and we definitely will not be able to ration out another 200 days. Zombies don’t have to eat or move, but we do.
Log 5, Day 207
I initially said the purpose of recording these logs were to keep a track of supplies and other eventful going ons. I lied. Well, half of it is true. I do want to keep track of what’s going on. But there is no higher purpose for that. I will not be taking these recordings and inserting them into some science experiment of the human psyche. My true purpose involves Sam’s validation. Yesterday, over the radio, he mentioned that he liked my stories. And I realized that I needed to come back with a whole new set of stories to share and wow the listeners with. I cannot do that if I do not remember what I did an hour ago, let alone 100 days ago. Also, I cannot let Runner 9 beat my ranking of Top Five in Sam Yao’s book. Runner 9, you’re going down! In the sense of the rankings, I mean. I wish no physical or mental harm to you. I am quite fond of you actually.
Log 4, Day 207
Somewhere between Day 85 and Day 102, the housemates and I were successfully able to coax a stray cat to join our cohabitation. Although R and L have already claimed this cat as their pet and have named him Benji, we all collectively shower our love and affection onto this poor, unsuspecting beast. He doesn’t seem to mind it too much. My relationship with Benji seems to have levelled up today. We spent several minutes slow blinking at each other, which is obviously the sign of unadulterated acceptance of the other.
Log 3, Day 207
I must say, I am quite fortunate to be stuck in a house with these three strangers. It seems that they had a similar goal in checking the house’s contents, as I once did. For the purpose of anonymity and to protect their privacy, let’s call them V, L, and R. In my observations, I have gathered that L and R are romantically involved. V seems to be a new runner for New Canton and was only acquainted with L and R for a short period of time. Overall, we live quite peacefully together. There are enough rooms in this house to provide shelter from the taxing requirements of social interactions in a confined space, and for that I am grateful.
