Why was you Five selected to from Mullins to go to Abel?

3. what would your five’s 6 pokemon team (based on favs, not team viability):

Five’s Pokemon team would be mostly Gen 4 Pokemon because that’s the Pokemon game she remembers most fondly from playing as a child but also has a couple from Gen 6 and Gen 7: Chimchar, Pikachu, Eevee, Skiddo, Darkari (if we’re allowing legendary Pokemon if not probably Shinx) and probably Poppilo.

8. if your five had a youtube channel, what would be on it?

Five’s YouTube Chanel would be a mixed Content Channel, mostly focused around Doctor Who related content and also probably gaming videos.

13. Any medical issues?

Five has Left Side Hemiplegia (which is a type of Cerebral Palsy that effects the right side of the brain and makes your arm and leg on the left side not work as well as your right), Autism (which is kind of classed as a medical issue but it’s more a condition than an issue but I’ll include it because it still is medical) and Generalised Anxiety Disorder (which I think is a medical issue it’s a mental one anyway).

She also has Epilepsy (which sometimes goes hand in hand with Cerebral Palsy) however, it’s completely under control and she stopped having seizures when she was eleven and and the doctors let her off her medicine at seventeen. But there’s still that worry that she has that the seizures could come back and if they did whilst on a run then it’d be game over. Only Maxine (and maybe Paula??) knows about this, because Maxine’s the settlement Doctor and because Five had to put it down on her medical form. So at least someone knows. Nobody else knows, because she’s terrified if there are too many medical things wrong with her she’ll be A) treated differently from the other runners which she hates being treated differently to other people or B) she’ll be kicked from being a runner and kicked out of Abel.

Of course, the whole nobody else knowing thing means that it includes Sam and that might cause some issues later on when he finds out but that’s for future Five to worry about....

I already answered number 11 earlier but I’d be happy to answer the other asks:

4. what’s your five’s favorite weapon?

Five’s favourite weapon used to be a cricket bat she had from her home that she used as a weapon in the early days of the apocalypse. Unfortunately she left that at Mullins so she doesn’t have that anymore but her new favourite weapon is an a one handed axe she found on a run, it hasn’t failed her yet in a sticky situation that involves killing zombies. It’s handle is carved with the names of her parents and her younger brother.

17. if your five could get any existing pet, what would it be?

(Spoilers for ZR Season 2)

Five actually gets a pet right after she was almost murdered by Nadia, a little Jack Russell Terrier puppy she called Scraps, that she found when he was about seven weeks old, along with his dead mum and siblings on the way back to Abel (Five really wasn’t having a good day that day).

She tried to hide him at first but Sam found out pretty quickly (as he’d raced to the gates to see if she was okay and he heard yelps coming from under her hoodie) and Maxine found out soon after that at her medical examination that Sam dragged Five too so they helped her hide him from Janine (because she wasn’t sure if Janine or the Major would let her keep him, a sickly little puppy who’d use up medical and food supplies) but Janine found out eventually and after she’d been reassured he wouldn’t be an issue and ran it through with the Major, she let Five keep him.

He’s called Scraps because Sam noted on the first night she had the puppy that said puppy was constantly asking for scraps of food from Five (even after she’d fed him probably because he didn’t have enough food out in the wild) and Five thought that would be a good name for a dog. The name stuck.

I feel like she also helps take care of Archie’s dog, Milo after Archie dies whenever she visits New Canton and makes sure he’s properly being taken care of as well.

I’ve just answered number 3 but I’ll be happy to answer the other two :) :

7. how does your five react to horror movies?

Five will watch horror movies.

BUT, not by herself as she reacts really really badly to them! and even when she’s with someone else she usually ends up hiding behind or having a really tight grip on whoever she’s watching it with (it usually ends up being Sam, Maxine, Paula, Jack and Eugene who she watches them with and of course, out of all of them, it’s usually Sam who suffers the consequences of sitting next to Five watching horror films and ends up with a bruise on his arm afterwards from Five’s grip). It’s a bit funny because she’s probably seen worse out on her runs and a bit ironic because her favourite film is technically a horror (it’s Shaun of The Dead, which she’s not scared of because it’s more horror comedy but still a horror).

9. how does your five sleep (light/heavy sleeper, on their side/stomach/back, restless/still, nightmares/dreams, etc):

(Slight spoilers for Season 1 & 2 ahead)

Five is a bit of a light sleeper, most things will wake her up, but there are a few things that won’t. She sleeps on her side, in Series one she sleeps facing the door on her side, but after S2M4 she sleeps facing Sam (she shared a bed with Sam after that mission and Five came back from New Canton, and the sleeping arrangement stuck but it takes until S2M44 for them to actually get together). She’s also very restless and is starting to get more nightmares than dreams (the nightmares started soon after S1M23 and progressively get worse every time something tragic or horrific happens to Five) but when she does have dreams they’re usually of her memories of her family, good times she had with her friends, dreams of her future but weirdly in the pre-apocalyptic world or sometimes dreams of travelling in the TARDIS with the Doctor or On the Red Dwarf with the boys from Dwarf (because you bet her favourite two favourite TV shows will sneak into her dreams sometimes).
