I LOVE running. I never thought I’d ever fall in love with running. It’s so addicting. I NEED my runs. Running is therapy.

This is not a relapse. I refuse to use that word...others may use it but that does not mean I have to buy into that language. Running will not kill me nor will I ever end back up in the hospital of any kind. My body is still kicking and I can prove that though some of my behaviors lean toward eating disordered I am not struggling with an eating disorder anymore. I am struggling with managing anxiety, depression, the general ups and downs of life. I AM NOT STRUGGLING WITH ANOREXIA AGAIN! I repeat I AM NOT struggling with anorexia again. Gaining any additional weight is unnecessary because I am at a normal BMI and have been this whole time. I don’t care that I was at the lowest possible BMI to be considered healthy, I WAS STILL HEALTHY AND AT A NORMAL WEIGHT!!! I still got my period and my clothes fit better. A win win in my book. I don’t want to do this whole dietitian thing anymore because gaining weight and following a meal plan is unnecessary as I am not underweight and my blood work should be fine at this point. I took a few months worth of vitamins and supplements to fix any issues I had months ago and I am good now. Others telling me not to run doesn’t feel right. This is NOT a relapse and I have to take control of my own life and screw what other people have to say. I am a healthy functioning person and that’s all the really matters. Collapsing last week does not make me unhealthy, it simply means that I pushed myself too far. I have since corrected that behavior and taken a week off of running for my foot to heal up properly and now I can run again. Run just to run. Run because I can check out from absolutely everything in life and just listen to music and feel my feet pound against the pavement and be in that moment. There shouldn’t be anything negative attached to that by anyone!!
Can't wait to run tomorrow morning
Weird because I usually enjoy night runs, but j haven't been able to run at night because I've been doing night shifts at work. So morning it is!
So I walk in the door after work tonight and my parents start yelling at me for absolutely no reason and bringing up stuff that had nothing to do with anything. So instead of taking it, I went for a long ass run to Pretty Place in the dark. I haven't been there since February. It felt nice to just let go and haul ass. I then did some yoga on what felt like the edge of the world and just watched downtown Greenville. Once I was content with everything, I came home to both parents sleeping, I showered and now i'm all cuddled up in bed and watching Orange is the New Black.
Need
I just need to run again. Why isn't it morning yet so I can for for a nice long run?
Just the inspiration I needed today for this bumpy road called life!
About to go for a run and it's weird. I want to run with someone but at the same time I want to run alone. I want to spew out all my current thoughts to someone, yet I don't know how to put them in to words. I don't even know what I'm thinking....maybe it's because I'm just really sleep deprived. But I don't think that's it.
