Faithful friends are hard to find.” (Sir William Shakespeare) - For the hardworking, independent workaholic, Kobayashi-san, she was fortunate enough to stumble upon a giant, green, fearsome, fire-breathing dragon during an evening stroll in the forest, whilst being drunk out of her mind. 😂👏🏻 Not being fully aware of her surroundings, Kobayashi-san invites that very same DRAGON to her home, an invitation that would spark a new, interesting, and oh-so beautiful friendship between a drunk workaholic and a fire-breathing dragon in Takemoto Yasuhiro & Yamada Yuka’s Anime adaptation of Coolkyoushinja’s (These friggin’ names.... LOL) Comedy/Fantasy themed Manga, “Kobayashi-san Chi no Meidoragon” (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid). 🐉🔥 To say Tōru (or Simple-dono) is madly and obsessively in-love with Kobayashi-san, the woman she works for as her maid, would be a HUGE understatement.....she’s crazy about her! So much so, one of the many humorous running gags has Tōru trying to serve Kobayashi-san her TAIL, which she tore off and cooked for her enjoyment.....yeah, she clearly LOVES the drunk workaholic! 👩❤️💋👩💘🤣 One dragon isn’t enough, no no no....because there are plenty more to come, all of who would become quite a strange, yet loving family. 💝 From Kamui Kanna (she’s so ADORABLE!!!), Jōi Eruma, or Eruma-san, Quetzalcoatl, otherwise known as Lucoa, and Fafunīru, otherwise known as Ōyama Takeshi. Joining them are Kobayashi-san’s human brethren, Takiya Makoto, Magatsuchi Shōta, and my favorite of the bunch, Saikawa Riko, a lil’ lady who has a crush on Kanna-chan, and blushes whenever she’s around her, or is being touched by her. 🥰💘 Now THIS is what one would call a strange, yet loving family indeed!
