Sorry for the jumpscare everyone…

I’ve had this cosplay since 2018, so it was first and oldest cosplay (if we don’t count my Lapis Lazuli Halloween costume from when I didn’t know what cosplay was). I still haven’t everything except for the pants and shoes I originally wore with it, however, I no longer need a wig because my hairstyle is so similar to his now.

I haven’t seen the show since 2018 and admittedly I somehow blocked out the majority of the time from when I had seen it a couple months into 2019 before remembering what had happened. I just had the urge to cosplay him and finally did it again.

The cosplay I got from DokiDoki, the wig was a brown lacefront from Epic Cosplay Wigs (I didn’t record which style, if I find out what it is I will update this), and the hat and necklace were from AliExpress.

I finished classes a little over a week ago and I’ve finally been able to get back into reading TGCF! I had been stuck on the 5th volume (because of how busy I was with work and classes and everything else) but now I’ve finally made it to volume 6! (I’m absolutely terrified.)

Since I’ve gotten back into the groove, I have been thinking about Xie Lian so much recently and I realized that I hadn’t posted my pictures of him here.

I do plan on crimping the wig eventually because this wig just tangles so much (as long wigs do). The last con I wore him too I was suffering His Highness’s curse because the wig kept tangling and the lace was set waaaaay too far down on my forehead, so it pulled my eyebrows up and made me look like I was on the verge of tears (I felt fine besides the headache it was giving me).

I wanted to try to do a douyin style of makeup for him, but I still kinda struggle with it. I want to cosplay him more so I will do my best to get better at it.

More Maraich! I got so many pictures that I liked for him.

I don’t know why that first one has different colors because I didn’t change the settings on my ringlight at all. I still think it’s cool though.

Frederick Kreiburg cosplay made by me!

I’m wearing an 18th century style linen shirt I sewed by hand, the vest and coat were made from Simplicity Pattern 2895, and the wig is a Silver Grace Classic from Arda Wigs with a glued hairline. I also made the necktie, but I’m planning on making a new one eventually.

The pants (not shown) are thrifted wool dress pants.

I still don’t have his gloves or tuning fork but I will get them soon!

Posting these in celebration of getting the Spelldon and Valentine dolls yesterday! These are like the only pictures I have of him besides some con pictures. I first cosplayed him 2 years ago and never touched the cosplay again until a couple of weeks ago (not on purpose, I just couldn’t get my friends to coordinate me and it’s a really warm cosplay). My friend cosplayed Spelldon with me at the most recent con I went to!

The wig is epic cosplay’s black chronos wig and I sewed in 15” burgundy red wefts. I then used an eyebrow razor to cut the wig, following a tutorial on YouTube on how to cut emo hair.

The majority of the costume was thrifted!
