Ok last post on this project! Just wanted to let everyone know how grateful I am that my dear friend was happy to provide #ellaraeyarn #rusticlace in the colorways Lagoon, Sargasso, and Seaweed, plus #beauxbatons #harrypotteryarnclub in the colorway Fortitude plus ~1900 beads (Send Help!) plus the #starwarsknittingthegalaxy pattern book by knitwear legend #tanisgray to say nothing about having patience with me when I got stalled and confidence in me when I restarted the work of creating the sumptuous #starwars #RebelAllianceShawl by lace knitting icon #susannaic This has been a very challenging project: many tears were shed, some borne of frustration but now they are tears of pure joy. I don't always get this emotional about my projects, but you can hardly blame me. 1860 yards of #ellaraeyarn #rusticlace in the colorways Lagoon, Sargasso, and Seaweed, plus ~215 yards of #beauxbatons #harrypotteryarnclub in the colorway Fortitude plus ~1900 beads (yes I loved the look so much I added approximately 100 more beads than the pattern called for, Send Help!) plus re-starting at least 3 times plus countless hours of actual knitting and a few curse words along the way were all it took to create this beautiful #starwars #RebelAllianceShawl Now she's all pinned out for blocking and just that much closer to being shipped to my dear friend on the West Coast!
