Voting is Done! RWBY Wins!

And the winner with 100% of the vote (all 2 of them) is RWBY. Since nothing else was voted for there will be no secondary show. Instead I will just live blog RWBY Monday through Friday , one episode per day, and two episodes on Saturday. Hopefully once I am caught up I will have more of an audiance so that the next vote goes better. I am going to prepare a "what I know going in list" soon and liveblog the first episode later on.

okay since a lot of ppl on reddit are confused, I guess I need to finally explain: 1.) I said last year that I wouldn't be watching Volume 4, and I kept to that. I only know what I do because of my tumblr dashboard. My comics pretty much don't acknowledge anything after the middle of the Vytal Tournament, but sometimes my concept art does (because so many things about how the fall of beacon happened make me particularly angry) 2.) In the middle of summer in 2016, I LITERALLY LOST ALL INTEREST AND DESIRE IN DRAWING. This was an alarming event for me- I've always struggled with mental health problems, but could always draw. When I suddenly didn't want to, or convince myself to draw, I sought help for an official diagnosis. Because you can't exactly just NOT draw when that's literally what your career and money comes from. I started going to therapy and getting prescriptions for my illnesses, which have been helping a bit. But it takes a lot of time for those things to be effective. (7 months for me, to be exact.) 3.) Much to everyone's surprise, and I know it's hard to believe: I have a life! I have a sister and grandmothers and offline friends that I talk to and spend time with- which is an important thing to do when you're not drawing regularly for like 7 months due to depression. 4.) Since so many people think that I'm hot headed/angry/crazy/etc. when it comes to my passion for RW*BY, I've been trying to get into other series so that y'all won't have to hear so much of my strong opinions anymore concerning the series. 5.) I've been working on 3D art much more while dealing with 2D art block, and trying to do R&D for projects that I've had planned for years now. 6.) I never stopped reblogging or sharing RW*BY content on my blog or on my twitter? Do you seriously only think I have fandom interactions from my art?

Qrow being Yang’s actual parent would’ve been ACTUALLY more interesting than Raven being the deadbeat I honestly hate it LOL

Or Raven being the questionable, drunk, bad luck parent, but doting and loving to Yang and Ruby, nonetheless while Qrow is the absentee member of STRQ

PLUS IT WOULD’VE MEANT MORE VOICE ACTING FROM ANNA HULLUM

also how nice would it be if Raven picked up on how Ruby would probably like her twin brother’s fighting style and she showed her how to do that bc THAT’S HOW FUCKING SMART SHE IS, and she still thinks fondly of her bro despite his absence aaa like can you imagine it???

I’m sorry I just find it really boring how they make their male characters more interesting than their female ones almost by default it’s obnoxious

IDK I’d find it a tiny bit more compelling if Yang and Ruby didn’t understand why Summer and Raven are so eaten up about Qrow’s abscence from their lives, and when their family explains what he meant to them, then Yang begins to go out of her way to search for him bc she knows it’d make her mom happy, despite her dad’s wishes.

I'd like more Rae too. Like before they introduced her I kind of had this idea of her being like Punisher from Marvel, a vigilante. This could explain her leaving too-to protect her family. And the conflict of that. She loves them and that is one of the reason she is a vigilante, because when she kills the bad guys the world is safer for her family. 1/2

like I've noticed that this is/was usually the male thing. In games that is and movies. Guys are more often than not those vigilantes and are allowed to be more morally gray. I'd actually like more female characters like that. I thought Blake with her past might be one but nope, didn't happen
