Has There's a TTRPG for that! already recommended a TTRPG for that?
I'm going to try and keep this index updated whenever I see a new recommendation post, and also intend to double-check on the 1st of each month to make sure I haven't missed anything. I'm going to be grouping posts together based on what concept the recommendation list is centered around, and will be alphabetizing the list (note that this won't always be using the same title that is used in the post as I want to make this function more like a searchable index) and including the date of that post in year/month/day format (because that's the one I happen to find most sensible).
So, without further ado, There's a TTRPG for that! has already made recommendation lists for the following themes:

Genie: Miles 'Tails' Prower, you have three wishes - what is your hearts desire? Tails: I wish I was always right! Genie: Wish granted, you now have two wishes left. Tails: Actually, I have three wishes left. Genie: Genie: You little shit.
Tails: Hey, Amy, look what I had installed! Tails pulls a light fixture and the kitchen wall rotates away. Tails: Secret rotating wall! What do you think? Amy: That's cool and all, but you just lost your fridge. Amy: What's even on the other side of that wall anyway? Meanwhile on the other side of the wall Storm: Hey guys look, the magic fridge is back!
pov: You work day and night to help the restoration, but every time, closer to the end of filling out all the paperwork, another villain appears

Who send all these babies to fight?!
I'm of the opinion that the Cragmites from Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction are maybe the most perfectly hyped enemy in video games.
The whole game you're basically told that the cragmites were unstoppable and that the lombaxes pulled a hail mary to stop them, saving the entire universe. Not the Galaxy, the ENTIRE UNIVERSE. Then you find out they weren't destroyed they had to be moved to a different universe with a wormhole device because that's how dangerous they were. And when they finally come back they hit like fucking trucks, have a huge ass health pool, can fucking teleport and can do that annoying thing where when you kill them they split up into smaller enemies. You really do get the idea of that if Ratchet and Clank hadn't stopped them the way they did they would have just crawled over the universe just like Tachyon said
yo…. when jet breaks in the tea shop and accuses zuko and iroh of beinh firebenders….
do you think any of the patrons looked at zukos scarred face - obviously done by a firebender - and immediately think jet was an asshole? like
jet: hes a firebender!!!!
patrons, thinking about the backstory they concocted for zuko and iroh where their home was invaded by firebenders and they barely survived with their lifes so they could come and have a peaceful life selling tea in a city the war doesnt touch:
Jet: He’s a firebender!
The Patrons to the Tea Shop internally: You fucking stupid, sir? I think you might be stupid.
#if someone shouted something racialized at a food service worker and he pulled swords#if be like ‘yeah that’s fair’
He didn’t even use his own swords. He took them from a guard and the guards let him
I still think it’s hilarious that, of all the firebenders he could have sniffed out, he sniffed out the one who’s an excellent sword fighter.
Which makes the whole accusation even less believable because why would a fire bender use swords?
Here’s part 2! More coming tomorrow!
they made a star trek movie last year just last year and you may notice that nopony on earth gave a fuck about that fact at all or even noticed that it happened or reacted in any way. worlds first impactless media

I hope one of the episodes has a twist where the "Villain" and "Heroes" of one of the games the trio goes to is a game with the villain as the protagonist and the heroes as the antagonists respectively.
It would throw a pretty interesting curve ball into the protagonists understanding of the villain vs hero understanding of game worlds.
Another plot I hope happens in a possible future episode is a game world where there is no villain or hero. Just a protagonist trying to survive in a horror/survival game. It would also throw an interesting curve ball into the show's protagonists and antagonists' understanding of the "villain vs hero" thing, and it would possibly also show them that not all game worlds operate on that logic specifically, and that it's deeper than that (Conflict vs protagonist)
Edit: Especially since Kit mentioned that there's usually a hero vs villain thing in game worlds, wonder if that's foreshadowing for a future episode with one of these two potential plots.
