at first, yes!! and for a while, yes!!!! its less about “theyre gonna sway her feelings for me and she’ll leave” and more like “i am sick to my stomach watching this asshole try to flirt with her and he needs to fuck right off”
in most cases lime isnt exactly threatened. hes handsome, cool, sweet, tall, and hes known mochi longer and better than anyone else so for random npcs hes like eh, and maybe gives them a sour look. after he finds out shes a witch hes like ah she cant have a boyfriend anyway theyre wasting their time. BEFOR he finds out shes a witch though,,,yes. he is certainly jealous. not in a way that would make him bitter or mad at mochi if someone flirted with her, but he would def scare them away. leave my uhh not girlfriend, just best friend alone.
the only REAL potential threat is sulluvan, because even though her feelings for lime wont change, she can still choose to leave and be with sulluvan (she just will love lime still), and sulluvan has a whole lot of power and status so hes like UHHH THIS GUY SUCKS HE GOTTA LEAVE RIGHT NOW
