The kiss completely took her by surprise. She had just finished stating the truth about never being kissed before and then the peck had been given. A slow smile spread across her lips and Mary gave joking laugh. “Oh Gretchen, you do care! If it’s anything, ‘m glad you were my first kiss.” It was great having friends.
