Winter Blast is a plasmid developed and marketed by Ryan Industries that provides the user with the ability to freeze targets. Winter Blast was mainly advertised for culinary purposes, even being the focus of "The Kitchen of Tomorrow" exhibit at the Hall of the Future in Ryan Amusements. Waiters would supply customers with ice cubes for their drinks with a snap of their fingers and housewives could easily freeze leftover food for preservation.

games like Prey and Bioshock really push against transhumanism but im 100% serious when i say that if you gave me a rusty syringe filled with glowing red liquid and said "this will let you teleport, see through walls, throw balls of fire from your hands, turn invisible, and move stuff with your mind but there's a chance you'll go insane/instantly just die" i would instantly slam that shit into my arm.

does this mean i am actively avoiding the poignant morals of my favourite videogames? yes. does this mean i'll probably die as soon as some evil megacorporation starts selling us "evolution in a bottle"? also yes.
