That he grew up going to a conservative evangelical church every Sunday rain or shine, maybe Baptist, and had quite a lot of the Bible memorized well before choosing theology as a major. He rattled off that Isaiah verse like it was in his bones. That is a boy who has heard hundreds of sermons.

the way this was my comfort show that filled that void ck left too and now i can't even turn obx on. ever. not even the early seasons. i came home to a calendar of it hanging in my fucking bedroom like i'm being haunted everywhere.
