MOFFAT ERA APPRECIATION POST - Lots of great writing in Gallifreyan Circles.

All clips of the TARDIS phone (aka the bells of St John) open up memories/ scars for me, because a phone call in “Face the Raven” was the beginning of the end for Clara.

“Everything ends and it’s always sad.”

But a phone call is also how the story of Clara and the 11th Doctor got started. 

“Best helpline in the universe. Run you clever boy...”

And although it’s how 11 and Clara ended,

“Thank you for calling.” 

“But everything begins again too.”

That’s also how Clara and 12 began.

“and remember...”

because “if something can be remembered, it can come back.”

“Be Happy.”

I really wished for the doctor to notice that she was becoming too reckless, that it was time for him to leave her.... She was my favourite companion so far, I didn't want her to die, but it was a good episode and I loved her good bye. I’m gonna miss her a lot :’)

I absolutely LOVE this one, it was such a shock to see Jenna and I think it was absolutely marvelous that she did appear in the way she did! Loved seeing swarms of Daleks again, but I didn’t like Amy and Rory’s mini separation.  It didn’t feel natural and felt very rushed, I wish it had spanned the whole series, or just not been done at all to be honest.

24 days left...

Not long to go, keep on in there! Jenna-Louise Coleman plays one of the best companions for the Doctor and seems well fit for both the 11th and the 12th doctors! It will be terrible when their relationship comes to the end for a new companion, can’t wait to see the adventures next series has in store! Longest running companion of new who!
