Her name is making me upset. Her siblings are Stagleap and Doespring - both deer-themed names, and then she's just... Ryestalk. Why couldn't they name her Fawnsoar or something, it would be so cool to have a whole litter of deer-themed cats :c But oh well, I guess "Ryestalk" is fine too...
Like her siblings, she was Talltail's friend. She tried to comfort him when Palebird was giving birth to her second litter, telling him a story from their kithood and reassuring him that Palebird was in good paws.
While Talltail is away, she becomes Shrewclaw's mate. She later gets pregnant with his kittens, but unfortunately he dies before they are born. It's noted that the clan fussed over her during her pregnancy since she was carrying a fallen warrior's kittens, keeping her nest soft, bringing her food and water and keeping her company. It's pretty sweet of them. Eventually, she has the kits, Tornear and Mudclaw, who will seemingly inherit their temper from their late father.
According to Vicky she died in Moonrise, but we never actually see her in any main series books, and she's not mentioned to have died in Onestar's Confession either.
I have no idea how she's gray while both her parents are brown, so I just headcanon that one of her grandparents must have been gray. Hareflight and Mistmouse don't have any canon parents anyway, so it's entirely possible. I gave her a warm undertone to her gray, though, to reference her parents somehow. Aside from her fur colors, she has Mistmouse's stripes and Hareflight's eyes, along with a mix of both of her parents' markings.
