Po wielkim pożarze Rynku w 1575 roku większość drewnianej zabudowy została zastąpiona murowanymi kamienicami, które przetrwały do dziś, często z pięknymi sgraffitami i płaskorzeźbami. Rynek z jego kamienicami tworzy niezwykły klimat historycznego miejsca, które tętni dziś życiem kulturalnym i turystycznym.

After the great Market Square fire in 1575, most of the wooden buildings were replaced by brick townhouses, which survive to this day, often featuring beautiful sgraffito and bas-reliefs. The Market Square and its townhouses create a unique atmosphere of a historic place, now bustling with cultural and tourist life.
Sculptures of famous polish men (on temporary exposition in the city Lwówek Śląski/ Poland -> rynek).
