Ryuu and gaku's first meeting makes me feel so much 🤧

Ryuu whose first kiss is on camera for a drama he's filming. When Gaku finds out (after the fact, tragically after the fact), he kisses Ryuu himself so that his second kiss can be everything a first kiss is supposed to be: sweet and loving and tender and intimate. Private.

Gaku whose first kiss was also with some random girl he didn't care about, because Sosuke thought it was important for him to know how to kiss.

So when Gaku's talking with Ryuu before their kiss, and he asks Ryuu, "Did you like the girl though? If you didn't like her, then it doesn't count." Ryuu responds with, "Did you?"

And they realize that in a way, it's kind of a first kiss for them both. The first time it's with someone they really, truly care about

Gaku: *reaches out to help*

Ryuu: *switches all bags into one hand and holds Gaku's hand with the other*

Gaku: That's not what I....

Gaku:

Gaku: Okay.

Gaku who's got sexual experience before he gets together with Ryuu, but it's never been serious, and even the girlfriends he thought really liked him turned out to only want him for his name or to get close to his father (the classic) so it ends up being not really much different than a one night stand.

And then Gaku sleeps with Ryuu for the first time and there's so much love in Ryuu's gaze whole they move together, and Ryuu is so gentle and so sweet with him, making sure Gaku's actually having a good time and that he's not overstepping any boundaries that Gaku just. Breaks down.

And Ryuu stops, because of course he does, but it's not "of course", not to Gaku, not yet, and the fact that Ryuu stops at all makes him cry harder

Their "first time" ends with Ryuu just cuddling Gaku so sweetly, and they don't end up actually having sex but Gaku isn't made to feel for once like he ought to just do it anyway, or that he's letting Ryuu down by not being able to follow through. And maybe he still feels a little bit guilty about that at first but Ryuu is so sweet and so reassuring that by the time he falls asleep in Ryuu's arms all he feels is loved.

Ryuu who loves to have his head rubbed, but he's so tall and imposing that no one ever does it for him.

But the first time Ryuu lays his head on Gaku's lap, Gaku's hand falls right to his head, stroking through his hair. Absently, even, just a natural gesture. And Ryuu grows really quiet, to the point where Gaku can't tell if he's actually enjoying it or not.

When he stops to look down, Ryuu has tears in his eyes. Gaku's really worried now, wondering if he's crossed a line, and asks quietly if Ryuu's okay. And Ryuu, just as quietly, his head still in Gaku's lap, nods. "Mn. It's just... no one's done that for me since I was a kid. It's nice."

Gaku makes sure from then on to rub Ryuu's head whenever he's within arms reach.
