Is Pillowfort ... Hmm ... Promising?

It has an interesting setup that I think could work. It’s running very slowly right now because it’s still in beta and they were not expecting the Fap Snap any more than the rest of us were, but I expect that’ll get better in time. I don’t know that I like it quite as much as I did Imzy, but it does have a number of the elements that made Imzy great, plus the really fortuitous timing that Imzy really could have used.

she belongs to @lightandwinged ! i’m just home all the time and really, really love cats so we’ve mega bonded in the past 4 years but now i have to say goodbye and i’m as distressed about it as she is. so she’s not going anywhere, just me. :(

iirc one of my fav series that jane yolen did was the dragon pit series

but i barely remember it past DRAGONS!!! BOY CHARACTER!!! SOMETHING SOMETHING BONDING AND AWFUL ADULTS and i want to say slavery somewhere in there???

mostly i remember she was always in fantasy anthologies and i adored her short stories more than most of the rest lol

bruce on the other hand

man i mustve read every single book in existence that he did, at least at one point

i remember checking everything out at the library and then doing it again and again

stuff like jeremy thatcher, dragon hatcher

and HOLY SHIT THE WHOLE “MY TEACHER IS AN ALIEN” SERIES

i have vague memories of having this weird crush on one of the characters but fuck if i remember which one lmfao

i have a lot of feels for how i somehow completely lost all recognition that these things existed, that i voraciously ate them and worshiped the authors as a kid and owned like every single book ever
