One of my favourite comic-book author, he adaptated the story he wrote in his Nikopol trilogy for the screen.
Thomas Kretschmann is good, as usual ; the music by Venus is good, as usual.
Ok, I admit that the digital effects are old-fashioned - they were already cheap when the film had been released indeed :p
Nevertheless, even though it is not a masterpiece, this mix of thriller, poetry, love story and science-fiction is brilliant.
