So these two are Kevin and S.E.A.M, pronounced like Sean but with an M. They’re for a cool new story idea I got randomly and I think may actually work out pretty well.
Kevin is a smol engineer and hobbyist robot builder at ISET, or the International Space Exploration Team. However, when his newest creation malfunctions and wounds a fellow worker, he is told to scrap the project. This leaves him devastated, seeing as this was his life's work. The machine holds an A.I. forced to sleep on an electronic drive that can be removed, and was confiscated after the incident. After a few days of bitter lectures from his boss, Kevin steals the drive back in a desperate attempt to fix his project. The story begins with Kevin trying to return the drive to its host, all while escaping his boss and a few security guards.
I may post the first chapter on my writing blog @authorofthestorm so please support it guys >W<
4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?None of them actually stutter or anything, really… Clael DOES use “like” often, but mainly because she likes to put on a typical valley girl facade around guys and that part just stuck.
8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?Kuruk likes to think things through, unless it’s a fight. He likes to be collected and calm at all times.Myra TENDS to think more but the more something gets on her nerves the quicker she tends to think actually. Dart doesn’t even think at all. He just acts.Clael is a pretty quick thinker actually, she doesn’t like to plan out actions or anything, but she doesn’t just act out like Dart does. She may be the quickest thinker on her feet.
12. Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.Leeet’s see. Only gonna do 3 for each because I’m lazy.
Kuruk is almost always seen sipping his favorite tea whenever he’s not out and about (1). His skin can harden to rock when he wishes. It takes at least 30 minutes for the full effects to ween off once he stops (2). He’s an extremely heavy sleeper, and he realizes this is a weakness in his line of work. He sometimes tries various ways to get around it and wake up in case of intruders (3).
Myra enjoys to read, but more specifically she finds it more relaxing to read higher up, on a roof or on a tree branch (1). She’s aromantic and rarely enjoys the company of others, the one soft spot she tends to have is Kuruk himself, due to the time they spent together. This often confuses her (2). Myra is actually a fantastic actress when she wants to be, able to hide her generally…. displesent disposition in order to lure targets and others. She studied this herself to help be more deadly… Or because she enjoys theater as well? (3)
Dart is a literal thrill-seeker, he always wants to do things the most dangerous way he can just for the rush (1). Despite not being a mechanic, he likes tinkering around with things. It started originally from tweaking his motorcycle himself, though he’d never call it a hobby (2). His irises are actually seen as a rare collectable, due to their EXTREMELY shiny characteristics. This actually is something common where he’s originally from (3).
Clael knows how to play a lot of classical music, mainly Bach (1). She was the daughter of a rich aristocrat and an ice siren. Her father used to like “collecting rare exhibits” (2). Out of the 4, she’s had the most “normal” upbringing yet still choose to be an assassin. As much as she likes, and honestly feels she needs to live a more wealthy life-style, the thing she wants LEAST is to live an average typical life (3).
16. What are their best school subjects? What are their worst? List five (only doing three again) of each.Kuruk:Best would be Business, P.E., and Home Economics.Worst would be Chemistry, Heavy math subjects, and Art.
Myra:Best would be English, Theater, and Psychology.Worst would be Most other sciences, Sociology, and Computers
Dart:Best would be anything with his hands basically. Worst would be much else, he doesn’t like paying attention. He actually would be terrible at P.E. because he’d try to show off more than anything.
Clael:Best would be Music, Math (At least until latter Algebra. Her strongest is Geometry), and Art (mainly Sculptures). She’s the most well learned due to actually ATTENDING school in her life.Worst would be Sciences, History, and Business
20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?Honestly, Clael would be the only one that DIDN’T have people in mind right off the bat. Kuruk already killed the one he was most after. Though for the others, consequences aren’t the limiting factor. Myra doesn’t know exactly who the person is, and Dart doesn’t know WHERE they would be by now, or is afraid to go back at least…………
24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why? They’re a group that kills people for hire. It’d be more surprising if they had NO enemies out there somewhere.
28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?Kuruk doesn’t fear for his own death, mainly others. His one regret would be not being there for his family when they were killed… Especially his little sister.Myra would say something like she feared death enough most her life, but when push comes to shove if she ever WAS cornered, she’d feel just as weak as she did as a child…. Which also relates to her regret.Dart has ZERO fear of death. Though many regrets….Clael honestly is the most scared of death… But she doesn’t regret many of her actions like leaving her family name behind.
Someone asked for a list of my OCs! So here we go......
S.E.A.M.
These guys are my OC's that weren't just self inserts.
I wrote about them plenty in the S.E.A.M. tag so far so this is just listing them with references! If you wish to know more, I probably have them tagged on my blog under S.E.A.M.
The first link will be to the tektek designs I invented for them, because I can't draw. The second link will be to another doll maker design, made by tanamanatee! If there is a third link it's a picture made by my friend prominence12!!
Kuruk:
Tektek
Dollmaker -*Didn't have the best hair choice, the Tektek is what i was going for. The skin color is better in this one though. He's meant to look older than this doll maker allows as well.
Myra:
Tektek
Dollmaker -*Needs more anger--

OC Chad (occidentalOtaku)
I have too many pics of him to count but uuuuhhh. My sidebar image is one.
I'm not gonna add DP or Nimexa. They're basically outright obsolette even if I enjoyed playing them years ago (and still do, considering I've been using Nimexa recently, granted a bit differently). H.A.P.I. no one would want to see drawn. Ever.
"Are you for real? Taking a job from someone like him?!"
Myra grilled into her partner as he headed for the main door. He looked at her with his dark brown eyes, sternly staring her down.
"You know as well as I that we need this job. We're running out of money and a man like Seymour could secure our finances for quite a while." After explaining this, Kuruk saw Myra look down and mutter. "Look, I know we rarely take jobs from someone like him. But if we want to continue our way we need to work. Most hits come from the upper class, you know this. I hate it too but we're seen as just tools for them. At least we get paid for it."
This didn't seem to make her feel any better. He laid an arm on her shoulder, had this been anyone but Kuruk that arm would probably be on the floor in seconds. "We can't afford to be as picky as usual when we're on such hard times now. It'll be this one time and then we're good for a while, okay?" After a few seconds of silence, she slowly nodded.
They had been together for two years now, since that one rainy day... They had many clients and hits but this was the first from someone so well known and high up. Most the time the high aristocrats tend to avoid people such as them if it can be helped.
Kuruk decided the two had wasted enough time. If this hit was to be carried out tonight they needed to head out now. Myra opened the door and the two were about to leave when they heard a meek voice call to them.
"Uhm, excuse me..."
Turning, they saw the same woman as before. Clael, didn't he say? She was at the bottom of nearby staircases leading to the foyer.
"Can we help you, miss?" Kuruk spoke plainly. They didn't want to anger their client anymore than they already have (if that was even possible).
The woman answered straightforward "You two are.... assassins, right? Who did my father hire you to kill?"
The two partners exchanged a brief glance. Was it okay to be talking to her about it? She seemed open enough talking about such a serious matter.
Kuruk finally decided to answer her "Uh, his long time rival. Sir Dimolion."
Clael seemed to visibly gasp. "That's it though right? You won't kill anyone else besides him, will you?"
"If some idiot gets in our way we got to take him out too, you know." Myra roughly retorted. "What's it to you anyways?"
"It's... nothing really. I just have friends that work for him, that's all!" She looked to the side quickly. "I just wanted to know what my father had planned."
"How in the world are you his daughter anyways? You look nothing like him. With that super light skin and dyed blue hair you practically look like a different race from him." Kuruk knew that Myra was just questioning the girl to mock her father rather than out of any type of curiosity. However, Clael's response shocked him.
"My mother was from the far north. Part of a small village... That's where I get this blue hair from. It's natural for your information. And as if you're one to talk with that green hair!" Small village in the north that had blue hair passed in it? There was only one such tribe that fit that description. But rumor had it they had all been wiped out...
"You don't mean the Water Mages, do you? There aren't any left of those from what I've heard." Mages were treated like mutants by normal humans. In fact, that was why Clael's father was so rude to them. But if his own daughter was one why was this the case...?
"My father is quite the.... collector of rare goods. I think that's why he took my mother away during the massacre. He probably saw her as a treasure. The last of her kind. At least, that's what I think. I can't exactly ask her now..." It was known that any wife Nicholson may have once had was dead for a few years by now.
"So he sees you as his treasure now instead, huh? That explains why he wanted you locked away in your room." Myra smirked as if she just figured out some great big mystery. "I bet he forces you to use your powers for his benefit as well."
Clael quickly shook her head. "No, as far as he's aware I never inherited any of my mother's powers."
Raising an eyebrow, Kuruk couldn't help but ask. "As far as he's aware?"
Blushing, the girl smiled. "At times, I sneak away to practice and learn. I've gotten quite good at creating weapons out of ice and using them...."
The two assassins looked her over. With her black skirt and fancy blue top, it really is quite a surprise to hear she's good at fighting. If her father ever found out, there's no telling what he'd do. Maybe he'd force her to work for him like Myra thought. Or maybe he'd have her killed like the rest of her people.
It's almost funny. The Water Mages were the kindest and most open with their powers. Any other tribes were quite closed off and hidden. But the Water Mages wanted to help normal humans in their day to day lives. However, people feared the powers that they were shown. Instead of welcoming the helpful race, they instead decided to wipe them out...
"So, how long have you been leaking info to your father's rival then?" Kuruk suddenly spoke up.
"E...eh?! What are you talking about...! I would never..."
Before she could finish, the man interrupted her. "It's obvious you hold a great dislike for your father. You, a member of a peaceful group, practice fighting behind his back. Not to mention you just told us that you have friends in Dimolion's organization. Your father is losing his precious secrets for some unknown reason. It seems pretty clear you're involved in some way.
She looked down in shame, tears welling in her eyes. Right as it seemed she was about to speak up, Myra poked Kuruk on the shoulder.
"It's getting late. We have to get going."
He looked out the door and saw that the sun was starting to set. They'd have to leave now. He turned to Clael, who was still looking down.
"We'll be back in the morning. This isn't over yet, okay?"
She just stood there as the two walked out. When they got a good distance away she yelled out. "Please don't hurt anyone unnecessary!" And then to herself she simply whispered... "Please..."
Part 1/3 (Part 3 was never written but if this gets good feedback maybe...):
"You're hiring people with our specialties to kill one of your business rivals?"
The mood was tense, despite the bright setting and fancy decor that surrounded the group of three. As soon as the rather large man finished the sentence he knew he had struck a nerve with their client, Sir Seymour Nicholson. Nicholson was a small, stout man and owner of the semi-well known Nicholson family business.
When Kuruk and Myra had received a letter calling them to his manor, they didn't know what to think. However, the temptation of a job from such a wealthy man was too much to pass up. Now, they sat across from him in his finely furbished study as he narrowed his eyes at them in anger.
Sir Nicholson was very curt with them when explaining the job. His long time rival, Jonathan Dimolion, had been getting to be more of a thorn in his side every day. Somehow he had been getting access to many of Nicholson's coin production secrets and now has been steadily surpassing him in every aspect by nearly double!
"Certainly this must be an easier job than many you.... people... are offered, no? I'm aware that most of the time you are called to deal with more extreme cases but I can't wait any longer!" Nicholson's mustached twitched as he tried to calm himself down.
Kuruk and Myra were killers. Assassins, or maybe one would think of them as Mercenaries... Either way, for two years now they have been going from job to job to take out people. Most of the time however, these people were ones that had powers like them. There were plenty of assassin groups out there to take out weak upper class men, hence why Kuruk was so curious on why they have been chosen.
"Very well. When do you want it done?"
"What do you mean when? Now! Get on it!" Well, that explains why he wanted them. If he wanted it done in such a short time period hiring people with powers would be the quickest.
Kuruk sighed before asking "I assume the rush is due to suspicions that he has discovered another secret of yours?"
"That's no business of yours!" Despite snapping at Kuruk, their employer grumbled afterwards "I don't understand how he's been finding all this out..."
Before having a chance to reply, Myra spoke up for the first time since they entered. "We're not your damn detectives, so don't ask us." She growled as she rolled her eyes.
"Don't take that tone with me, freak! I wasn't asking murderers like you to find that out!" If they thought he was angry before, he was fuming now. Kuruk groaned. Myra should have known better. She knew not to comment during negotiations because something like this always tended to happen.
Myra shot up quickly. "Who are you calling freak, pig?!"
Before Myra's green hair even had a chance to settle, Kuruk had grabbed her arm, glaring at her. But the damage was done.
It was amazing to see how mad this chubby man could get. "PIG?!" Do you KNOW who you are addressing, wench?! I'll have you blacklisted and forced out of that pathetic little cabin of yours and on the street in seconds!! So hold your tongue or I'll--"
"Father?"
The mood instantly shifted as the three looked towards the large mahogany doors. Peeking through was a young woman with light blue hair and deeper blue, shining eyes. She stood there looking at the commotion before Nicholson piped up.
"Cl-Clael! I told you to stay in your room while I talked with our guests! Begone! Or must I call one of the maids to watch over you?"
The girl simply nodded lightly before ducking out of the room.
With the moment interrupted everyone seemed to be able to calm down and sit back once more.
"How about this, if you somehow manage to find out how that imbecile is getting my secrets I'll throw in a little extra dough. But as long as you kill him by tonight, I don't care either way."
Myra was clearly angry still but managed to sit in silence. Kuruk glanced at her quickly before turning back.
