i was today years old when i discovered deftones covered stormtroopers of death.

always wanted to hear deftones playing more faster extreme metal out of curiosity. chinos voice definitely suits the direction they decided to go in but knowing the band members took a lot of early inspiration from hardcore punk, this is an interesting peek into what could have been.

maybe there exists an alternate universe where deftones is one of the greatest hardcore punk/crossover thrash bands.
