Grudge till Death

(Finally open tumblr after so long, the first post I saw was about Oliver and Danny interacting in a gala then I realize that I have free will)

Bruce Wayne is not good with any types of relationship, both famial and romantic.

You can argue that the kids that he adopted or were under his care have turned out greater then life itself.

The first former sidekick to lead the Justice League with ever growing passion, his first Robin that would soon become a mantle.

The reason that Crime Alley was slowly getting better, his Robin that advocates for the innocent and his people even through his death.

The now CEO of Wayne Enterprise with brilliant ideas that would come to reality to will save people in need, his Robin even without the mask still making a change.

You can get the idea.

All his kids and non-kids turned out amazing despite his judgment and the hardships.

Not without fighting, dying, and emotional betrayal from one to another.

Each fight that would make them distant, not for long at least. And each injury that would keep them close.

Their bond was violent and came from strategic approach rather then parental instincts from him, but it was all theirs.

Bruce can safely say that it was the best decision he has made. Not the violence, but the act that he was there in each and every shadow and they will do the same with him.

The manor couldn't be any brighter and livelier since the incident, a proof of their labour. A reason to come home with each violet night.

How can I begin with his love interest.

Don't even get me started with his past lovers with all thier different quirks and personality.

Some and most with violent tendencies that would make a big contrast to his vigilant ego, I'll put that aside for now.

There is only one relationship that he can't save or lack there of, is that with his younger twin brother, Daniel Wayne.

Bruce and Daniel are like two peas in a pod in terms of how their brain works. They both have the fixation on trying to figure out the problem and successfully solving it.

Twins are supposedly their other half, the one that shared the same soul with just different bodies. There should be a connection of brotherly love.

But there isn't.

Ever since they were little, they were always fights between them that would cause one of them to wail and cry.

Baby Bruce would steal and drink baby Daniel bottle of milk, once Bruce emptied out his own.

Toddler Daniel will later then hide all of toddler Bruce toys in spite, while innocently playing with his own toys.

Their parents thought it was a great idea to let their boys shared a room despite the clear evidence that they would make their twin's life miserable at the young age of few months old.

It grows worse once their parents was gone. Without their parents actively acting as their mediator, they fight as common as rain in Gotham.

It gets to the point where Alfred makes them have separated rooms, only a half a month after their parents tragic death.

Then two years later, once the boys reach 10 year old, together. It was that dinner time that Daniel ask to live with their aunt Maddie and uncle Jack to Alfred, without even consoling about his twin about it.

Not a proper goodbye from Daniel, just a lack of disturbance that would stretch into his vigilante years.

Daniel cut all contact from both Bruce, unsurprisingly and Alfred, surprisingly.

Now that Bruce mature he begins to crave a connection to his twin that he only spent a decade with.

Bruce doesn't even know if Daniel has live the life the way he wanted to.

Unfortunately and suspiciously there is no records of Daniel Wayne in the system.

Did Daniel reach his own expectations? Did Daniel graduate with as the top 1? Did Daniel have offsprings of his own?

There is not a hint of Daniel Wayne anywhere, not until.

It was in the early morning, where the batfam already had their breakfast with, of course chaos between each bite of homecook meals.

Surprisingly they have time for all of them to spent a little time together before Duke starts his morning shift.

There, they were now sitting in the living room watching the television like a normal family.

'Which means something big is going to happen' Bruce thought immediately.

Look he knows that it was probably just his paranoia. But if its not then he can thank himself later.

"Jaylad, can you switch to the news, please?" Bruce politely requested to his son, who's closer to the remote.

Jason barely left his eyes on his book "Let Steph do it, I'm busy" He brush off the request as he turns a page from his book.

"Mind you" Stephanie barks a comment, who was having a one sided conversation with Cassandra "I'm busy also"

"Doing what exactly?" Tim raise a brow as he glance away from his gadgets "Mouthing out others?"

"Minding my own business" Stephanie stuck out her tongue "You should try it sometime"

Damian who is starting to get tired from this usual morning bickering from his siblings, actually does what Todd was supposed to do in the first place.

"Thank you, Damian" Bruce appreciate the helpful gesture from his youngest, which the said youngest nods to acknowledge the praise.

They were hit by a male that looks rather similar to Bruce, except he lacks the usual fashion that Bruce likes, all baggy it seems like.

And the lookalike seems to be accompanied by Oliver Queen of all people.

'That's definitely Daniel' Bruce thought to himself, a bittersweet moment to finally see his twin for so long.

"Out of all people?" Damian question the CEO of Master Industrial types of men "Why Queen?"

'Since when did Daniel become CEO?' Bruce seems puzzled as each piece didn't fit all that correctly.

"Ohh gurl, you could do so much better" Stephanie commented like she was watching Alfred's favourite Soap Opera.

'Why him?' Bruce unaware that Tim is studying him throughly 'What's so special about him?'

"Inlove" Cassandra noticed the detail

"Didn't even know that Oli swing that way" Jason now abandoned his book to look at the television with interest.

"Doesn't change, still inlove" Cassandra said as Stephanie makes kissing gestures using her fingertips.

"Does Dinah know about this?" Duke stared at the television with an unreadable expression

"I will be surprised if she didn't, it reaches all the way to Gotham" Dick pipe up

'Its probably just a meet up, a collaboration of such' Bruce sighs internally 'Don't overthink this'

'Unless it states otherwise, we're good' Bruce thought to himself, clearly stopping himself from making assumptions.

And as if the universe and fate wants more chaos, the news shows an update regarding to the CEO of Master and Queen Industrial situation.

Bruce was deadly silent as he blankly stare at the flat screen before standing up and removed himself from the living room, deciding to call Oliver Queen.

He felt the curious glances from his kids and non-kids on his back as he made his way out to dial that idiot's number.

Wellll that's just say it was a colourful conversation on the phone.

No Gift to Give

(Since I can't join my family for our Christmas party because I'm bedridden. So I decided to be a little mischievous to my dear Danny Fenton)

Danny Fenton-Wayne is the new kid in the manor due to obvious reasons *cough* adoption bait with trauma a and all *cough*. Everyone likes (dare I say loves him even?) the kid with differences reasons being:

Alfred knows that Danny likes to follow him around like a silly game of following the leader. With the added quirk of Danny being invisible and undetected, while Alfred does the household chores. How does Alfred knows? Please he was in the military. Danny feels calm watching Alfred work when he has nothing to do, oddly enough. Which Alfred is more willing to offer his silence of not noticing him. (Alfred finds it innocent and absolute endearing quirk of Danny of all things.)

Bruce was the most emotional stunned adult there is. So he miscalculate when Danny seems to understand him instantly with his hm and grunts and all in less that two weeks of him staying in the manor. It seems that Danny is by far the active listener and quick to follow the rules (Partly false, Danny hides it better, surprisingly). (Did Bruce called all of his contacts that knows a sliver chance of the infinitely realms and how to take care of a half - ghost and a revenant so he will not mess up one more time at being a father? Who knowssss)

Barbara has alot of black mail, and I mean alot. But it doesn't mean there is no room for more. Danny is basically her little evil elf on Christmas day (Danny fakes a gag on the comparison? Once he heard of her delivery of speech) delivering presents for her to wrap and gift them when they have been naughty. (There is no black mail of Duke? Hmm, possibly there is nothing important to black mail him with)

Dick being the most obvious. They both love puns, it absolutely puts Dick in the most happiness mode ever when someone in his family finally competes with him in a pun off. Also Danny being the most comfortable to ask Dick for hugs and cuddles. Which Dick happily provides with all the hugs and love in the world. (An added bonus of not forcing his other brothers for a hug if Dick was feeling a bit touch starve.)

Cass was just there. Cass didn't need to spoke or sign a single word and Danny will understand instantly. Cass is internally greatful of that quirk of his. Most of the time Danny knows went to be quiet or not and went to give her space or gives out hugs when around her. They only become closer when Cass realises Danny likes to ice skates. So any chance they get they planned an outing to ice skate, together with silence or with small chats here and there (They didn't planned at all during December. Something is definitely wrong, but there is not enough clue as to what. Did she do something wrong? Didn't talk enough maybe? Or something else entirely?)

Jason, a relevant of the undead and Danny, a halfa of the realms. What is their dynamic, perhaps? Its utterly confusing I tell you what. With Jason on ghost meds and is still healing and slowly removing the pit rage, their dynamics are bonkers. One moment they act like they were buddies of the same origin and the next suddenly they were enemies of a war that doesn't know the concept of world peace. But one thing that doesn't changes is that Danny likes to hangout with Jason, no matter what. (Jason finds that fact endearing alarming)

Steph and Danny is a down right lethal duo when it comes with pranks. Now the only reasons that they were ever together in the same room or on patrol is that Danny has the happy look on his face when he uses his brain on something a teenager would do. The only saving grace they have is that they were banned to use glitter at all courtesy of Alfred. Thank the ancients for him honestly. (Someone finally took her seriously for once, even if it was just to plan to put a measly whoopee cushion inside the bat-computer chair)

Tim likes to work together with Danny, since they work so very efficiently, even in silence. Danny is a more hard ware type of guy while Tim prefers being working with soft ware, so it was a match made in a cave full of bats. They both constantly brain storm ideas of technology that they could build and monitor. Surprisingly, Danny chooses him to be the second choice of asking for hugs and cuddles. (Tim finds clarity in his situation of acting brotherly to one of his brothers)

Duke and Danny was the earnest people in the manor is what the other claimed them to be. Why yes Danny constantly misplaced Tim's items as a joke about him being sleep deprived again and hands over black mail of Jason as Red Hood of falling down the stairs to Oracle but the end of the day Danny will admit of doing it, most of the time. Duke will cover him and Danny will do the same. "No, Danny only eats about two of Alfred's cookies" Duke spoke calmly as he knows that he sneakily gives his own cookie to Danny, earlier. It was the payment of Danny patching him up after getting stabbed. (It was a nice feeling for Duke to finally connect to someone and to be acknowledged even in their mischievous ways)

Damian was the most reluctant to open up to Danny. But in the end he was the most close with. Being a ghost who greats by fighting feels right at home, when the first thing he walks in the manor was asked to spar from Damian. Which Danny oblige once he notices Damian smells a bit deadly. Then cause a sibling dynamic of "I hate you" (seriously) and "You don't have too" (fix me upper). It turns into a complete 180 when Danny introduces him to his buddy, Cujo. Which is now our buddy, Cujo.

So pray tell them, that at the day of the most cheerful holiday known to the whole wide earth. They can't seem to find their cuddly and ghostly family member anywhere in the manor?

Ghost to a Clown

(Anywayy Research Defended! still need to make revisions tho, but ehhh, so I'm kinda back on making rare pairs for the fandom)

A family of four just moved into Gotham for a reason of looking for "ghosts" to study. Now Joseph wasn't one to judge as the number one unofficial rule of surviving Gotham is to mind your damn business....

How can he not spy a little when they're literally living next door? Don't even get him started with their behaviour that just makes him want to uncover both their truths and lies.

Jack Fenton, almost 7 feet tall paired with a wide torso that scream he can fold you like fresh laundry, but loves to hand out extra fudge and to ruffle Joseph's hair when they crossed paths.

Madeline Fenton, a slender woman with a ninth-degree black belt, who is clearly the brains in her relationship in terms of common sense. Despite her terrifying and violent skills she is truly a good mother to her children.

Jasmine Fenton, an older teen with a habit of psychoanalyze anyone in her sight. With a clear view of her specimen also assessing their physical symptoms then proceeded to not used it to her advantages.

"I-" As Danny was about to continue saying. He then stops when they meet their eyes and Danny seems to noticed about Joseph that Joseph, himself can't identify. In the end Danny said a simple "Nevermind"

Joseph just shrugged it off as he ask Danny that they have been doing recently "Can you tell me more about your Ghost Stories?" Now Joseph was old enough to know that Supernatural wasn't real.

He was desperate to change the subject and Danny has that look in his face when talking about his hometown. Danny was clearly homesick if it wasn't obvious enough.

Stories range from a ghost kid playing make believe to hunters hunting unique and rare. Call him crazy but Joseph felt like there's something more about those stories. It's just something in his guts that tells

Joseph let out boisterous of a laugh out of pity for himself. He should be dejected for bringing his hopes up. Except it feels natural to just laugh his pain off.

"Joseph!" Danny throws a mean punch on Joe's shoulder "Knock it off!!"

Joseph can't he just keep on laughing laughing laughinglaughinglaughing

Then Danny said something that Joseph didn't expect at all.

If Joe can't possibly find it in official websites then maybe he can find it through undead means.

That would put a big target on his back. Which equals to a guarantee possibility of getting his tragic death.

Cause Joe only wants one thing and one thing and that is to go back to Danny.

Lately, Damian's mind has been filled to the brim with the thoughts of the new exchange student, Daniel Fenton or Danny, he would like to refer as.

He can't help but wonder what it would feel like to date his muse, Danny. But he simply can't let his mind wonder. Unless his detectives of a family knows what's brewing up in his head.

"I would change for you" He cradles his lover's sorrowful face as he brings their forehead together "I would try to stop my acts of harming of what you consider to protect"

"I simply can not" He would never dare lie to his precious lover that he knows he never deserves in a million years "With my nature of being who I am"

"But that doesn't mean I will stop trying for you, Habibi"

Damian was left speechless at the comment but force himself to say something, anything "Pardon?"

Damian knows better to not get his hopes up when Danny was already making it clear that he was not interested "Then why not accept my confession?" But he can't help himself to holding on to his fantasy.

"Its not you if you're wondering" Danny reassures that it was never the possibility that it was the idea of Damian that ruins the appeal "It's just that— I'm already in a relationship"

Damian with slow realisation now notes that wrongness in his stomach was not the flutter of butterflies, but rather an insight of gut wrenching news he will - has now experience.

"We can still be friends if you would like to be?" Danny truly wishes that they both can salvage what they created before this scenario.

"I-" Damian felt like a fish out the water, into new area that he was not familiar to. He never would have thought that feeling his heart ache was this hurtful.

"I would like some space for now" Damian didn't dare stare back at crystal ocean eyes that he will still admire even through his heart breaks.

"Of course" Danny said like he already expected that outcome as he gives Damian a warm and comforting smile "You deserve that call"

At a grassy hill in a setting dusk, lays two lovers going strong where shooting stars will start above them.

Away from gotham, away from civilisation, away from peering eyes. Just them under the watch of the ever present moon and stars.

A classic picnic blanket lay underneath them to soften the spike blades of grass that would poke their skin, where one lays their head down on his lover's thigh.

A basket of fruits for sharing, snacks to feed their empty stomach with, and other essentials when time grow quieter and was romantic enough to bond with.

The atmosphere that was filled with love was quietly broken to the one who was born to be use and not want.

"I must have save a country in my previous life to have you with me" Respawn with his head down on Danny's lap, staring at soft sapphire eyes.

Meteor shower begins to showers the nightly sky with beautiful hues of light amber that a lover of space finally gets to see. But he was busy loving a star in his grasp, that only matters to him.

"It doesn't not matter what you did before" Danny said softly like it was only for them to hear "What matters is you besides me"

"That's my line" Respawn grins as he turns to tackle his lover in his loving embrace where they shared a kiss under the colourful midnight sky.

With both of them having their own characterised unchanged chuckles and childish giggles carrying into the starry night.

The one who is seated in front of the empty sit is other than James, the greedy sin himself or what the family has dubbed by Mie. Who can't help but stare at the empty seat and crave for more of his sister presence. 'Is the family, excluding one simple not enough for me?'

Mie stops his trail of thought before he descent to his sin. He distract himself by making small talk at the one who is seated on his left. Which is jealousy himself, Jesse with his one entitlement in the family with the nickname Izzy.

Mie, wearing a sleek suit as always was about to open his mouth to start a conversation about social status. But soon stop to noticed that his brother Izzy, with his denim jeans and rugby shirt is too gazing his two pairs of eyes on the seat where Rae-Rae never even dare sat on.

Their plates with a stainless steel dome cover flew to their own respective Skeleton butler that was beside them. As the dish was placed in front of them rather elegantly. Each Skeleton grab the handle of the dome cover to revealed the appetizer. Which was a Deviled Cucumbers with a dip of Screaming Cheese.

Half a dozen of Half-demon and a set of twin of full-ghost waits patiently for their parents to dig in first before even the thought of digging in. As the rule of the Palace and the parents taught them to be polite and proper in the Great Hall.

The powerful couple did not touch their freshly served appetiser at all. They simply look directly to each other from each end. They have decide to speak in their intimate mind link that has been within them since they mated.

And that was the que for their children to cause mayhem on the Great hall with their chatter.

“I know what you are going to say„ The Tyrant, himself already knows where this conversation is leading on.
