it’s way too hot and muggy to be a winter night in seoul, but silver supposes it’s because he just stumbled his way into the alley from within a crowded, sweat-filled room of gyrating bodies. there’s alcohol buzzing in his system, his head shakes, his eyes blink. he falls against the brick wall next to another figure, head hitting the hard surface with a soft thunk.

“i, for one,” he begins slowly, “like to think i make a mark on the lives of everyone i meet.” his tone is jovial, nonchalant. it’s lighthearted and playful – but the look in his eyes appear to be anything but. his lips curl up almost sardonically, pushing at the edges of his face as his expression gets the slightest more serious– and he looks less and less like the busy college student he makes himself out to be.

“for real though. i’m just jokin’,” he waves his hand off. “after all i’m the one who comes to your shows aren’t i? i never thought i’d actually end up runnin’ into you,” and he smiles, a little less bite this time. “guess you could say i was a little starstruck–” his eyes glint and his fingers twitch by his sides as he slides his hands into his pockets.

“you’ve just got an awfully pretty voice,” he continues unabashedly, “sorry if i bothered ya.”
